I've lost count at how many parties I've been in that were supposed to be post ad phase and could even make it through the AoE bait -> Orb phase.

What's even more hilarious are the parties where some rando makes a discord server just for the party and basically hi-jacks the party and gets the mechanics wrong. Then the party leader drops group and does everyone a favor and dissolves the group.

Who the FUCK actually thinks current AST is fun? I just finished leveling every healer to 80 and AST was easily the most unfun one. It feels like a bootleg WHM with a shitty minigame that you play for a bunch of uninteresting buffs. The fucking card shit feels like a chore and like its something tacked on to the class instead of being part of the kit as a whole. WHM and SCH are way more cohesive than this garbage. The only thing AST does better are the animations which are cool as fuck.

DRK flows a lot better now but its actual quality is about the same as it was before, I think. It's weird now, all its flavor-text and background is about revenge and dirty fighting and you don't get an ability along those lines now until lv. 70 with The Blackest Night.

They had their power over creation magic completely taken away by whatever was making the planet scream. Afterwards their creation-magic only worked when they were imagining horrible monsters killing them, and the monsters running around made them imagine more horrible monsters eventually culminating in the planet going totally out of control, reality falling apart, and the view you had of the planet getting glassed.

Archaeotania was one of the nightmares from a foreign country that Lahabrea had brought over for study. It escaped from Anyder and helped kickstart the panic in Amaurot.

nah I got past that since we had the golems eat the meteors but once we got to the phase with extra dragons randomly tossing shit at us we would just die without any apparent attack being used

Charges are all oGCDs and one-off abilities, which is probably why he thought that. Though Verraise being a limited spell makes no sense for the job thematically, Dualcast is specifically incorporated to negate long cast-times both in-world and in gameplay, and the sheer mana requirement is covered by their sword swings.
