I’m a fan of Celeste, much less Tumblrshit than I was expecting.
You’ll probably know if you like it in the first couple of hours, so either way it checks that one off the list
>no celeste
BRAWNG
Volgarr is harder than Castlevania 1
What would you replace for it?
Nex Machina is completely and totally unremarkable in any way. Obra Dinn is niche and not really particularly good. Hollow Knight is not very good though worshipped here.
I'd replace Nex
>hotline miami
The original released before the eighth gen, and the second wasn't nearly as good
Mainstream is devoid of this trailblazing creativity
>Nex Machina is completely and totally unremarkable in any way.
You fuck off right now
you being young doesn't make what i said untrue
Helldivers could have been so much better with some good level design and enemy spawn mechanics
What the fuck even were those bowl extermination maps
From indies right now I am looking forward to Transient (lovecraftian cyberpunk adventure game) and only because I am fan of the studio (which is made out of three Turks) and I played all of their previous games.
name some lovecraftian games
Replace Isaac, Stardex Valley and Nex Machina with Gunpoint, Subnautica and Dusk.
From the same devs, Darkness Within is pretty good one, point'n'click that get me into their works and imo is still their best games. The game is atmospheric and telling its own story instead of relaying on known lore. The sequel to it I like less, mostly because of more clunker controls.
In Conarium, their third game, they significant bump down the puzzles, based the plot more on "At the Mountains of Madness" and add some action parts, which I don't like.
At first glance Transient seems to be similar to Conarium, but I will still keep an eye on it.
why?
nex machina
followed by (in any order)
distance
devil engine
rayman origins
sonic mania
monolith
vanquish
furi
cuphead
I disagree.
>you being young
I'm old enough to know the greatest arcade game ever made when I see it
