Jk2 was so much better.

played JO at launch, played jedi academy at launch and all the mods in between. MBII is the clear ultimate version

Jedi Academy 1. That's what everyone plays on, (no matter what mod you use mb2/lugor/ja+) and it's still what the competitive players use (which, yeah, the competitive scene still exists for some reason)

Even the top American player (Shake) gets on almost daily, stomps everyone, then just leaves

Yeah. Unfortunately the only two servers active ever are KR and Jawa. and Jawa is one of those servers that fills itself with bots until people join.

another reason to go play MB2
No bots, at least 40+ players in various servers usually with one hosting 20 of them

i guess because it's the main multiplayer game i keep falling back to and I honestly do think it's better than the base game

MBII was great, normal JKA was also fun though, duel servers were always lame, I played either siege mode or on melee servers.

It has much more depth than base JKA saber fighting, you're not wrong to like it.

played this shit last christmas and it was pretty fun

not only that but it's actually fun to play non-jedi classes too, and matches are typically decided by how balanced between the classes each team is made up of.
All Jedi will lose to a mix of Sith and Mandalorians 100% of the time

theirs usually 1 10+ player authentic server up but i think open is more fun

Well there’s Base which is pure settings, and there’s usually the same old pros and elitists that get together a few times a week to play. Don’t expect them to welcome you, a lot of them are assholes.
Then there’s JA+, which there’s a full server maybe a few times a week. And a few people playing late nights always (depending where you are)

Eternal Jedi Academy, basically someone is keeps patching the game with better shit (resolution fixes, better ui options, proper optimizations for modern OS) everyone seriously needs to try it out if they don’t have it already.

I fucking hated these elist prick servers, even back in 2003/2004. There was a server where you got pinned to the floor and thrown off Bespin if you fucking DARED to WALK past an admin in the combat ring. Because that COOL WALK was reserved to the big boys.

I fucking hated clans in this game.

I used to play some mod that add classes and loved playing as hotshot (explosive expert) mining every single door and btfoing saber users with explosive packs that did only half damage to me, also liked force user that could learn all force powers but had no weapon, felt like naruto force jumping through saber weaving before naruto was a thing
