it feels like they had 1950s nostalgia since the 70sand it feels like there was media about 80s nostalgia in the 90s and early 2000s. why does it seem like there will never be nostalgic media about the late 90s or early 2000s? some interesting numbers:

if a GTA game out today, and went as far back as vice city did at the time of its release, it would be set in 2003
If a game went as far back as SA did at the time, it would be set in 2007

so clearly the more than enough time has passed for 90s/early 2000s nostalgia
