Who cares, once they got into the Cell Games everything went downhill.

I'm more excited about what kind of side quest and alternate stories they'll do rather than seeing a recreation of the same story again.

I'm actually surprisingly excited. Even though it's the same story we've played through time and time again having it be an RPG that goes more in depth into the daily life shenanigans, it's pretty cool.

The fact that they tried to hamfist in his backstory right at the end of the arc really done him dirty. Granted, it wasn't a compelling backstory anyway but what the fuck were they thinking by putting it 3 or so episodes before the end of the fucking series?

Cell is boring himself but the Cell saga and the build up to it was the best part of Z. The whole pressure put into Gohan and the high stakes of Goku being unable to kill Cell, it was great. Z should have ended then and there. At most, Buu saga should have ended with Ultimate Gohan.

You could do anything and it would make Jiren's character better, the dude is cardboard personified.

Not even close, and I don’t understand why Americans always think this. Dragonball is GOKU’s story. Always has been. Frieza saga was the absolute peak of his arc, the one time the stakes felt absolute, and it took the martial arts Wuxia genre where it’d never gone before: space. To fight a galactic emperor. The strongest in the universe. And it expanded the backstory of the MC with the most interesting lore in all of DB. The fights where the absolute biggest, and the arc was a perfect escalation of tension and adventure.

Cell by contrast was an absolute clusterfuck of an arc. A villain with convoluted motivations that clashes with each other, who got NOTHING done, and who despite being told he was stronger than Frieza, there was no longer a visual escalation in power. Going from Piccolo to Vegeta to Frieza, you SEE and FEEL how much stronger they’ve gotten. Piccolo was the first time we saw characters fire nukes, but it took a lot. Then in Vegeta they were casually punching each other through cliffs, and firing laser beams strong enough to destroy the Earth. By Frieza, they were casually firing nukes at each other, and generating so much power the affected the atmosphere. You really FELT how much stronger Goku had gotten.

Then Cell comes along, and it’s like “oh but he’s even STRONGER” but none of the feats showcased during the arc ever surpassed what was seen in Frieza, if anything, it was a step down in a number of ways. And don’t even get me started on ALL the characters, Cell included, acting very stupid for the sake of plot convenience. Goku now has an instant teleport move, and he doesn’t abuse it, Krillin and Piccolo, fucking Vegeta, Gohan as well. It was constan.

No, fuck you. Out of the 3 Z sagas, Cell was by far the worst. Even Buu was better.

They had to have him fucking carry his tail around so they could cram tail fishing in there instead of just having it be how you fish in the early game.

He’s Cooler, Frieza’s brother

He’s not canon and only appeared in 3 DBZ movies that are also not canon, one where he makes his debut to kill Goku on earth after Frieza’s Death and another where he’s more robot then Frieza was and tries to take over new namek and then gets KO’d by Goku in one hit despite draining him of his energy

Third appearance doesn’t even matter because I’m not sure if that was even him at the time
Either way he’s not canon but they made Broly canon so why not
