I'm honestly expecting the episodes to get worse as they go on.
The same thing happened with Telltale's episodic games. You make most of your money from the outset and put the majority of your effort into the first episode, then each episode lowers in quality as they run out of money and get fewer eyeballs. Of course in Telltale's case players buy every episode as a package, but I expect the same thing to happen with FFVIIR. First part will get a lot of sales and praise, second part will get less interest, and the third part will be halfassed. I don't expect them to go beyond three episodes.

Second, this is the second time I've seen you quoting and linking this random post, saying that multiple people thought that it looked downgraded, but I've yet to see anyone other than that guy you quoted doing that. Third, you know that that actually makes no sense, right? The guy said it looked downgraded from what we've seen from the trailers, but the trailers were the ones that had worse visuals than in the screenshot as you can see here And even though I didn't pay much attention to the graphics as I previously said, it definitely didn't look THAT bad. The only bad thing about them that I actually noticed was the anti-aliasing on Cloud's hair.
