Little Big Planet
>The game of the generation
Man, the first two games in this series are special. For the short 5 years of 2008-2013, this was one of the best coop experiences on playstation. I'm glad I was born at just the right time to experience its rise, peak, and fall.
Rest in peace.
really shows how limited Mario maker truly is.
I thought 2 was ass purely due to the stuttering on first gen ps3s.
First was best
Such performance issues were nothing to what the third game had (and still has). But I digress.
I'm sorry the game stuttered for you. If you can get past that, it was better than the first in almost every way (this is subjective, of course). All the added logic and mechanics heightened the ceiling for what a level could be far past LBP1, and frankly made the first game look extremely limited by comparison.

used to fall asleep in online create, very comfy nights
had the PSP version at some point, didn't care for it cause it felt like a very easy children's platformer
did I miss out?
The reason I bought PS3
The psp version was a dumbed down version of 1, afaik. I think you may have missed out, the community was a unique experience that I haven't found in any other game since. Unfortunately, the third game made a lot of people quit, and the series never recovered from that.
is there anything like LBP for PC?
having an easy way to create your own basic game or levels and sharing them with others is a pretty cool idea
Minecraft
you can create anything in minecraft?
the only shit i ever heard of is hunger games and a bunch of custom minecraft world singleplayer campaigns
think LBP building but 3-D, much more detailed and for PC autist. that's just normal minecraft without even touching mods
But ive played minecraft and it isnt the same as LBP at all, minecraft is an autistic lego game where you have to survive, manage resources and do other boring shit, LBP is a side scroller where you make small levels and can pretty much turn the game into anything you like such as a top down racing game, tower defence, or some other mini game
You can do the same with minecraft, thanks to things such as redstone, command blocks, server plugins, etc. For a good example, the Hypixel server has a lot of game modes that you wouldnt think would run on a vanilla minecraft client.
>You can do the same with minecraft
no you cant
Just saying that my statement is false doesn't make it false. I won't waste my time further trying to convince you, since you seem very stubborn.
>All those emo/scene girls on LBP back in 2009
Why were there so many of them?
AAAAA IT WAS SO GOOD WHY CAN’T I GO BACK TO THE LATE 2000S IT WAS THE GOLDEN AGE OF GAMING LBP WAS MY CHILDHOOD
do you have any evidence to back that shit up?
you cant just say this one server has plugins therefore minecraft is like LBP
Exactly. In minecraft's creative mode, you can build whatever the fuck you want, including a side scrolling level. You're gonna have to get a little technical with mods and redstone if you want to do the really crazy stuff, but since its on the PC it's possible with enough dedication. I mean just search up Super 2D Run on youtube
Unity
It's daunting at first but after ten hours you can make a game that surpasses lbp3's complexity ceiling
Most things you could want to make already have templates out there. If not you just gotta learn C++ or some other thing
