The only thing ME1 talents has more options in is fitness and combat armor. And then you get immunity and can pretty much walk through the entire game on insanity. ME1 gameplay is actually catered for retards, not only in how easy it is to break but also people who think it's got more complexity because there are more rows.
ME3's branching trees shit on both ME1 and 2 talents.
