No, Square Enix should make a good game.
Honestly a turn based Star Wars game be pretty kino, or a title that had tatics gameplay
They did, it's called FFXII
spot on
I really hate how star wars isn't truly sci fi, it's just fantasy set in space.
Yeah ff12 is just star wars. That's why I haven't ever played it more than 3 hours, boring as fuck
great cheoreography
Isn't this webm supposed to cut to the shit in game? This is circa TOR or whatever, yeah?
this is so believable it might just be monkeypaw'd
thanks user
TOR didn't deserve those CG trailers.
We can't guarantee it'll be good but from what we know of the massive number of Star Wars references in Japanese media and SE games especially, it'll be passionate. It'll be extremely passionate and SE will put enormous effort into it. That's more than EA will.
>Blur made a 4 minute trailer better than Mouse War films
How did they do it?
Tell me pic related isn't a Sith Lord.
>should be able to use keyblades
>doesn't and just uses his lightsabers
why is Xemnas so based?
Better final boss than KH3
>I really hate how star wars isn't truly sci fi, it's just fantasy set in space.
what makes you say that?
Said in the game that introduces Wedge and Biggs as running-gag characters in the FF series.
not that user but sci-fi is generally speculative fiction about the ramifications of future technology. star wars has very little of that and most of its setting decisions are just an excuse to mash up WWII style infantry and dogfighting with 1700s style naval shipping and smuggling memes. oh and samurai laser swords.
not that I'm complaining. I think all of that stuff is fucking great. but it's been a thing since the 80s for, for instance, trekkies to demean SW as 'not real sci-fi'
nigga jsut stand there watching her force pull bark off a tree when he could have dragged his light saber to the right and cut off her fingers
none of those troopers felt like taking 2 seconds of their time to help out?
>A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
>"A long time ago"
They weren't trying to be sci-fi to begin with.
They tried in the full video. They got fucked so they decided to leave it to the jedi.
>sci-fi is generally speculative fiction about the ramifications of future technology
This doesn't apply to much of modern sci fi or even star trek era sci-fi. Where's this in alien?
You aren't wrong
Give star wars to square and avengers to respawn instead of the other way around.
They did. In 1998. Worst RPG they ever made.
Have you seen what happens when you try to shoot at a glow nigger?
>Where's this in alien?
did you forget that bit with the android?
Alien is more horror than straight sci-fi anyway
Aliens are also biotechnology created based on our own scientific advancements
>biotechnology created based on our own scientific advancements
>no way to download Awful Fantasy anymore
Really? I need to mega that shit
they already make one
i want to play ff VI, which platform i should play on?
PC.
SNES version.
i've been reading around, and some state i should go for the GBA version?
PC, GBA version with visual/music patches. You get the most content that way.
Square maybe, Enix maybe, Square Enix? No chance
mega for it pls?
Moded Snes, don't fall for the GBA meme
Why don't people just use bullets to kill Jedi?
don't have the rom handy right now, I'll post it to /vr/ sometime
>a turn based Star Wars game
So KOTOR/KOTOR II?
I bet they can pull something similar to Neo in the Matrix.
They already did, it's called FFIV
Fuck I miss Square
>GBA version with visual/music patches
I'm a SNES purist but this is not a bad way to play the game. You get some bug fixes and post-game content.
Theres a fan patch to fix stuff like the bad gba sound and colour, while keeping the extra content. Only thing is, it's much more zoomed in than the SNES version.
>In the span of three years, Squaresoft released more cult classics and major titles than Square Enix has in the last decade
what happened to video games
It was a golden age, but time makes fools of us all.
I miss Geno
I miss it
too big now. major studios have oversized teams making bloated carcasses of monstrously large games
Too many cooks?
You can never have too many cocks
>Parasite Eve
Of all the dead IPs, this one stings the most.
Is BBS RotS?
actual answer: at around 2000, many of Square's oldguard left to mistwalker while many of the fresh blood left to monolithsoft
