Electron Avenue finally shows up

People like when they actually have a chance to win the race, not DNF: The Map. Especially with virtually no Warp Orbs or Clocks now.
i like Roo's tube
I vote against all Nitro Kart maps because they are utter trash with lots of RNG elements. Nitro Kart was a shitty game for zoomers, if a NK map gets selected I just leave. Also Roos Tubes is still one of the best maps in the game even with the changes made from the original.
I like your tube if you understand what I'm saying
The bandicoot girls are super cute. We need more cute girls in gaming.
I think i do
>Tiny Arena gets picked twice in a row
>I vote against all Nitro Kart maps because they are utter trash with lots of RNG elements
Get a load of this pleb.
I know you're so shit you need to hope that i get hit by some RNG object on the map but just get gud and play the superior original maps that rely on skill
Roos Tubes is objectively a better track
Why does roos tube sound so lewd?
Sounds like a clear case of 'git gud'
Sounds like a clear case of enjoy not racing on Electron Avenue.
It doesn't and the track name is Roo's Tubes
He said people not wanting to get DNF. That means you have to get good.
>get hit by warp orb half way between turbo pads
>inferior player doesn't and gets to keep speed all the way around the course for a really long track
It's a trash map unless they remove op clocks and warp orbs, its just broken
The funny thing is they actually don't have a chance
>Cortex Castle never gets picked
Pussies
Is it worth getting the game at this point, or should I wait for the PC port? CTR is literally one of my favorite games of all time and I had near-WR times on my save from when I was a kid but I didn't have money to buy it until now
Wait until it gets balanced. The game is absolute shit to play right now.
Disregard the other fag the shit balance is the best part of the game.
I thought it was a straight remake?
This is exactly how I feel
Whereas braking at all in the original made you lose speed/reserves, holding down in the remake while braking doesn't, which means you can take very dramatic turns now without losing top speed. Kind of makes Speed the only relevant class in terms of time trials and online to an extent too.
git gud fag
You could do that in the original too though.
Pressing brake at all cuts your reserves entirely in the original, yes you could do thatttttttttttttt
The podium Beenox doesnt want you to see.
It didn't do that if you were in the air though.
>inferior player
>keep speed all the way around the course for a really long track
Pick one
Is N.Gin labs disabled? I been playing all day and haven't come across it.
Its getting patched I bet. Then again i havent been online since Friday.
It do tho
>even getting DNF on Electron Avenue gives three times as much coins as winning Roo's Tubes
>people still won't pick Electron Ave
>mobile filename
Im out n about.
Maybe they'd rather have fun and try and win rather than get demoralized.
Fck jannies
>Dragon Mines
>Crash Cove
>Inferno Island
>Coco Park
>Dingo Canyon
inferno island is from CNK retard
dragon mines is based
>didnt read
There are long periods where the turbo pads that give you USF are spaced out really far, so if you get hit by an OP clock right atfter hitting the trackpad first you are fucked and everyone else will recover before they get to the trackpad and they get an advantage for being slower to the pad than you, its stupid
the track is shit, i cant stand when people vote for the nitro kart garbage tracks instead of polar pass or tiny arena
It takes twice as long to finish, so it cuts the margin a bit. I usually don't really focus on how many coins I'm getting during the bonus hour. It's pretty much the only time I play now and I just have some fun for the hour it lasts
>he doesn't like Out Of Time or Thunder Struck
For some reason people are always really close together on Coco Park, whereas the gaps are much larger on Inferno Island and Crash Cove. They're all simple circular tracks so I don't really know what the huge difference maker is. I regularly have like four people finish withing a couple seconds on Coco Park
Thunder Struck is fun. Out of Time looks pretty bland to my taste so I don't really care about it that much, even if it has two interesting shortcuts
t. different person
>inferno island is from CNK retard
Really not sure why this was pointed out
fair enough, I ended up liking the CNK tracks more than I thought I would, the only track I don't like playing in the entire game is Dingo Canyon
>stop playing what you like
why people are like this?
Dingo Canyon is where reserves, tech and any and all form of skill go to die
Even on Crash Cove/Inferno Island/Coco Park at least you can still build up reserves
What the fuck does it mean to jump a total of 1 meters
Your complaint I feel is only valid on maps that have a singular STP at certain points of the map. Electron Avenue has so many STP's that getting back into USF isn't hard at all, although catching up might be tricky. I absolutely loathe Prehistoric Playground online due to the position of the STP just after the first round of boxes, I'll usually sit back in 6th-8th on that map just to avoid the initial clusterfuck of items as the pad comes up.
I like Dingo Canyon. For one it comes up pretty rarely, so it's a nice change of pace. It also has lots of narrow areas which are fun chokepoints. As I've played this online, I've started to like the simple tracks more and more. People stay closer together and it's just some kart racer fun, as opposed to hotlapping with infinite boost by yourself
In comparison, tracks like Electron Avenue are pretty boring to me, the gaps between players become really large and you're basically guaranteed to not catch up/get caught at a certain point. It's easy to keep the boost going, there aren't really any notably good places to drop items and the track hazards are pretty negligible too
It's entirely viable to keep SF around the whole track
