An even BIGGER ring.
That’s a big Halo ring
DYSON SPHERES
I could.
GODS OVERSIZED HULA HOOP
The flood did, completely. Forced them to ragequit, even.
This guy would, definitely.
Why do they have so much land, but there isn't cities covering every single inch of it? Completely unrealistic.
DEAR HUMANITY
Giga Chief
>lose so hard you gg out of reality
hoes mad
How long did it take to create those rings?
They prefer open spaces and natural environments.
>unrealistic
Oh no, it's retarded.
salty coins and bags of sand
WE REGRET
A perfect cockring for my galaxy-class cock.
Man, these new primaris terminators look fucking stupid.
He has it in the bag, everyone. Pack up and go home.
About tree fiddy
>you will never be autistic enough about halo to draw Michigan J. Frog fucking a personified Pillar of Autumn.
BEING ALIEN BASTARDS
He could, but I'll stop him.
I had to check which board I was on, fucking lol
That's what the inside of the Ring is for.
(Lore-wise it's because the species who built them were not very populous and also because they were meant to serve as habitats for lesser species to refuge on)
WE REGRET
There is a dopefish in Halo: Combat Evolved. I bet you're too stupid to find it.
I am dumb, yes. I didn't need halo to prove that to me, though.
Games with Megastructures?
The Flood
Also and
>that pic
Oh years of my youth why have thou forsaken me
Stellaris and Stellaris with mods
Posted it friend
You can't.
He's already done it.
very brave of you to post you could when you already did
I'll take on Halo all by myself.
Send me out... with a bang..
What is the tax policy?
for you
I'm glad someone else still remembers
>EYYY MUST BE THE MONEY
No, you won't.
If I blew that up, would you die?
>SHUT UP YOU EMO BASTARD
The Culture
Probably War In Heaven era Necrons
The entire Tyranid Hivefleet
hmmm and The Xeelee
It would be extremely regretful.
Looking up to see the halo ring was still one of the most trippy and mmost memorable moments in vidya for me. It's still one of the best designs of a space object.
I still kek whenever i see that pic
I don't think the Hive Fleet are as potent as the flood, though.
Everything else on that list, sure.
What do they eat?
for
I'm thinking the ENTIRE Hivefleet though. Nobody really knows the extent of it since the majority of it is still in Intergalactic space. Maybe you are right.
>Now NOBODY will know I lost to a mouse at go-fish.
Yeah, that's also true. What the hive fleet may lack in pure viral infection speed and ability would more than make up for in already existing weight of numbers, assuming they went all in and didn't probe the galaxy like 40k.
post the whole thing user
>what the hell does Shandification mean?
>still a little bummed that term didn't catch on, though
Oh yeah they've really just got their pinky finger in
plus they're just feeding, this is not even an aggressive action being taken, if they are actually capable of legitimate aggression in regards to self preservation
delet
it's on rule34, pretty easy to find.
a giant ring finger
Whoa.
nice
no
already did it
this user could
Okay anons, if you had to pick one of the three rings in OP to live on, which would you choose and why?
>Ooooooohhh Elden Ring
the one where I won't die would be nice
Smallest ring.
Every time you view the sky, you'd have the craziest view of two other rings stretching into infinity, and then your own.
I think Halo is a pretty cool guy. Eh kills aleins and doesnt afraid of anything.
>Serve as habitats for lesser species to refuge on
Didnt that get retconned in the books to that the rings were solely built as test faculties for experimenting on the Flood and as a giga-weapon incase the Flood got loose?
The one smaller ring is blocking out the sun for an entire length of area
That seems like bad design desu
The ones that haven't already destroyed.
Here you go, user.
files.catbox.moe
whatever assholes designed the markers from dead space
I don't mean the Brethren Moons, but the terrestrial society of dicks that designed the markers to be horrible eldritch superweapons that would wipe an entire galaxy of life clean and allow for the evolution of an cosmic apex predator like a Brethren Moon.
Those guy were probably turned into the first Brethren moon by their own creation
Also, how can I convert segments of flash to webms? I need TASH webms for shitposting purposes now.
I only finished Halo CE back then on PC.
Barely touched 3&ODST, my dad completed them in my stead.
What happens after he removes his helmet in the ship?
Could this actually work?
There's another helmet.
There's a smaller helmet, underneath.
Also we learn that other than cheif and cortana, the only other person to survie Halo is Dustin Echoes. What a badass, too bad he never comes up again.
Pretty sure they spin, so not really. It’s like having nighttime for us.
If they were perfectly rotating maybe
they probably have some weird gravtech preventing them from accreting
"You look like a good John."
The helmet is the same size.
First day on Yea Forums?
good thread, folks
Could the flood defeat the Combine?
all these nerds discussing what fictional OP race could this other fictional OP race
I love it I wish there were more threads like this
What would one see if they looked at the sky in t his scenario?
In one universe? Flood win, easy.
But the combine would just jump to another dimension.
Energy eating dyson sphere win every time
I dunnno about you, I was just shitposting halo memes
If one spore follows the Combine to another dimension, the Flood would overrun that dimension as well.
Ultimately depends if the Gravemind could get a hold of a Combine Advisor, before that it would depend on what kind of forces the Combine would deploy to fight the infection forms.
Yeah, but the combine would just cut off infected dimensions. They're not beyond cutting their losses when a venture isn't "profiting" them enough. They'd lose a few dimensions to flood infection, but what's that to the overwhelming spread of the combine?
did anyone here even read the books?
Oldschool Phyrexia could probably give them a run for their money. They're like flood that corrupt fucking metal after-all.
yeah
Fall of Reach and First Strike are Halo 1-2 era kino.
Contact Harvest and Ghosts of Onyx are really great too.
Only one I read was Fall of Reach
We have no idea how far the ladder goes up with the Combine, only what has been seen and talked about on Earth following the 7 Hour War and the Half Life 3 leak. The Combine could be a multi-universe pervasive society. Like Kardashev Level 4.
The Combine Advisors could just be the in universe equivalent of a lowly Psyker in 40k
Yeah but they already experience night time from the looks of the upper quadrant that comes naturally from that side facing away from the sun
I'd fire the architects
we simply don't know enough about the combine to make an accurate assessment but considering there a multiverse empire, there is a chance they dealt with something similar if not encountered the flood in one universe
UEF vs the Flood?
Until the Flood dig their way into the skull of the right Combine unit and learns the technology of dimensional jumping. The Flood isnt mindless. They are a bio-borg.
SON OF A HULA BITCH MACHINE
Half-Life 3 didn't leak. No wonder the retards who parrot the loudest about Laidlaw's blog-post are the ones who have the least understanding of it, or the story of Half-Life 2.
fuckin lol user, you got me
What would you accept as Canon?
Half-Life 1, 2, and episodes.
Not the books?
So not OP4? Even though Laidlaw said it was canon during his tenure at Valve?
Well, of course. Fall of Reach is the perfect prequel for Half-Life 1 and it ties perfectly into the story.
>Not the books?
hahahaha
The events of that are so meaningless they don't have to be canon. Another super-special military unit invades Black Mesa to clean up, again, and then they arm a nuke, but then it's disarmed, but then it's armed again? Oh and there's a super special alien race, but they all die anyway. Blue Shift is more meaningful because Barney is still babysitting the scientists.
>Well, of course. Fall of Reach is the perfect prequel for Half-Life 1 and it ties perfectly into the story.
Gordon vowing to start a resonance cascade after John bullied him in spartan school was a real eye opening piece of lore.
based stannis poster
w-who is this guy?
I have an old 360 catching dust, what's the best way to hack it? heard about Jtag or something
I wonder if we are going to get a customizable spartan T&A slider when mods inevitably arrive on the PC port. Just imagine what you could do with that.
>ITT people who don't know how fucking OP the forerunners are
They were able to geo/stellar-engineer the galaxy's tilt to shift. They are legitimately almost Culture tier.
I highly reccomend checking out the forerunner triology. They get shit for ruining the mystery of the series and for being a little wacky at times, but they do an amazing job stressing and selling just out esoteric and advanced forerunner technology is without it just coming off as "modern tech but better"; there's stuff in there that is as foreign to us as radiocommunications would be to somebody from the 16th century; you get a real sense of the scals both spatially and temporally of the forerunner empire, etc.
See above.
The flood's deal is that starting out they aren't too bad, but they absorb the intellegience of shit they absorb and they get expotentially more dangerous and can snowball to insane degrees. End level flood infections are arguably one of the most OP fictional factions ever short of straight up magical omnipotent gods.
You had the flood tapping into the fabric of reality itself using precursor tech, since the flood are the corrupted remannts of the precursors, and using solar sytem sized megaconstructs to slice holes into spacetime and fling stars around as projectile weapons.
Don't bother, it'd be cheaper to buy a bulk of games on the flea market for 10$
uh oh the expert is here pack it up folks
Batman with infinite prep-time.
this
fuck all these pangalactic assblasters
batman with ZA WARUDO would be unbeatable
>swallows your halo like an onion ring
