>no truly good games
Why is this?
Most popular manga in the world

I liked burning blood. Unpopular opinion but I like my anime fighters to be simulators of the source material over anything pretending to be balanced
I liked unlimited world red and pirate warriors 3, but that's coming from someone who only watched like the first season.
So did I, but it was lacking in a lot of areas. The Haki and Logia ideas were good but they needed some more fleshing out and balancing, and the campaign needed to be longer. A Burning Blood 2 that expanded on these things would've been good, but unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen.
>unlimited world red
Fucking disgusting, play the actually good Unlimited games.
Pirate Warriors is okay but it felt cheap. Definitely wouldn't say it was anything more than passable.
unlimited world red was kino
>Wii game
>Actually good
No thanks, I'll pass.
Pirate Warriors 2 and 3.
That One Piece GBA game that made many to give up at Buggy's boss
I actually started World Seeker and its alright so far. Not as bad as I thought it be based off what people said. That could change though.
>the "wii had no good games" meme
I'm waiting till it's dirt cheap. I don't expect good things but I'm still curious to try it.
It's also on 3ds if you wanna be a faggot about it.
Yeah it was on sale but not dirt cheep. So far it feels fine though. Combat is just standard but the ranged punch feels good to stun enemies with. Biggest issue is only Luffy is playable but the gumguming around is very satisfying.
it's not popular because of the action
Because low budget fanservice cashgrab works when it has a famous anime name.
It really didn't. And I say that as a Nintendo fan. I can count on one hand how many good games were on the Wii
Sure, but it has a load of unique characters with inventive powers that could translate into a great fighting game.
>twilight princess
>mario galaxy 1 and 2
>madworld
>no more heroes
>zack and wiki
>warioware smooth moves
>metroid prime trilogy
>smash bros brawl
>mario kart wii
>new super mario bros wii (this was before the formula got completely stale)
>red steel 2
>mh tri
And those are just the good games that I own
low effort arena fighters don't really do it justice so they can't just shit out games. I desperately want them to just make a game where you build a crew within the OP universe instead of just retreading old shit shit like the average game does
>wii has the three best one piece games with no competition
>faggot misses them because he's a dumbfuck
poetry
Just started marathoning the show recently.
At the Water7 arc now. Really, really liking it. For a show that relies on silly antics, they really know how to make you invested in characters.
Is Sanji gonna get any character development soon? Or at least some growth combat-wise? I feel like he's not changed a bit since he left the restraunt. Zoro has had like 20 new sword arts, but they keep pairing the two as rivals like they're on equal footing, despite Sanji doing the same old kicks.
Warioware and Brawl are the only good ones there. The rest are either overrated or just pure shit
3?
There is only two unlimited cruise on the Wii.
What is the third good one piece game?
Sanji is forgotten for a while but he gets powered up pretty heavily eventually
Zoro does too at the same time though, so he's still inferior
>Water7
>Sanji
Yeah... enjoy while it lasts.
Yes sort of, nothing huge and character wise way way later.
Go play the GBA action game already. It's on the Dragon Ball Advance engine, but with more platforming. Long-ass stages and tough boss fights. One of the hardest is Tashigi of all people...
Sanji was the jobber of the crew for a long ass time. He will redeem himself at some point post timeskip.
Anyway, you're watching the anime right? Switch to the manga as soon as timeskip start. The drop in quality is humongous at this point, Fishman Island was already pretty terrible in the manga, in the anime it's horrible.
And oh boy dressrosa is literally torture in the anime.
sanji has the single worst moment for any crewmember in enes lobby and it sort of ruined his character for me
That's gonna be a yikes from me
You realize that was literally to set up his speech that saved Usopp, right?
>sanji has the single worst moment for any crewmember in enes lobby
what?
Usopp
cringe and oofpilled
So?
Blessed are the big noses
Too large in scale for any open world to faithfully replicate. In an ideal world we'd have several games dedicated to each arc, all with similar gameplay styles and aesthetics, but also different enough to feel like their own unique beasts. Kind of like the NUNS series of games.
I want to see the Yakuza devs tackle One Piece. They did it with Fist of the North Star and it was a great game.
I can see how a Yakuza One Piece game would work.
>Has original story where it takes place on an city like island about the size of Kamurocho
>Can play as all the Straw Hats with different stats and abilities
>Can also level them up to learn new abilities, and increase max health/heat
>Can travel in the open sea on the Thousand Sunny and can find treasure and smaller islands which are villages, or dungeons, or other unexpected places
>Familiar characters such as Perona, Hancock, Mihawk, and others make appearances(through main story and sidequests)
>Encounter new and original characters as well
>Face familiar villains such as the Marine admirals, rival pirates, etc. along with new and original villains
>Familiar minigames from Yakuza also show up such as batting challenges, casinos, Sega arcades, darts, etc.
>Possible Yakuza cameos such as Kiryu, Majima, Yagami, Akiyama, and others
Would be pretty awesome.
The Gigant Battle games that came after Jump Ultimate Stars were ok.
>Or at least some growth combat-wise?
Yes. Pretty soon.
I love one piece bruh im on episode 890
NUNS?
He means the Naruto Storm games
Naruto, Ultimate Ninja Storm. Rise of a Ninja was a much better game so I don't know what he's talking about.
Because they would need to make a JRPG to do it justice and those take too much effort to make, so they just shit out musou games and a shit copy paste open world game.
Unlimited Adventure, Cruise 1, Cruise 2
>in the world
japan*
The only good OP games are Grand Battle, Unlimited Adventure, Unlimited Cruise and Pirate Warriors 3(though the other PWs are ok)
World Red felt like they wanted to make another Adventure/Cruise but the exploration and combat was worse and somehow so were the graphics. The main villain being cool was the only thing keeping me playing. Burning Blood was typical arenashit trash. Broken as fuck and not even fun to play for more than an hour or two
Post-timeskip designs were a mistake

>this game
>this main menu with all those characters on the background
Even with 4kids opening and terrible voices(like Sanji) this was alright
And this youtube.com
Only one I don’t care for is Chopper. He turned into more of a faggot in his half form even though his normal and full-human forms look better. They replaced all of his forms with and even though he. new Horn Point is ok, he ONLY ever uses Kung Fu point and we haven’t seen any other than these two since the time skip. He hasn’t even had any good fights since they BTFO the New Fishman Pirates so that sucks too
The thing with games for popular anime is that devs don't need to try too hard, people will buy that shit regardless. Same shit happens with movie tie-in games (do we even get movie tie-in games anymore?)
I like FotNS and didn't enjoy this game at all, it was incredibly grindy and was filled with pretty terrible minigames. The hub world the devs invented for the game sucked in general too. Combat was alright but the AI was really bad. It was for the most part better than the really sluggish musou game I guess, though at least that game had multiple characters to fuck about with.
They change every arc anyway. Unfortunately the worst ones were the first post-TS ones they had which is the one video games default to.
>Not watching the anime in kai
>Not watching Wano arc
Feel bad for you user
Not that guy but I don't watch anime in general and I'm noticing it's the same for a lot of people nowadays who also just stick to manga. Probably because it's less of a timesink I suppose.
Unlimited Adventure.
>CGDCT seasonal anime with subtext, cartoon-type macro faces and funny family guy moments where 7/13 episodes are filler
>has some of the most fucking fun anime-based vidya even when it's mobile RPGs or rhythm games
>One of the longest running and most profitable animated franchises that has influenced many future animated series to come
>Some of the most unique character designs and world in media period
>Games constantly are garbage that become boring within minutes and have almost no care put into them
but why?
Doesn't that use the *ugh* 4Kids dub as the source material?
Because of the “they will buy it anyway” mentality. Why put in care or effort when you can pinch off a fat turd and make money anyway because of the license?
It’s why I still haven’t bought World Seeker. Looks average at best and only has Luffy as a playable character unless you pay extra for DLC. Unlimited Adventure had the whole crew up to Franky playable and was a way better game from the look of it
