I finished playing Utawarerumono. What a roller coaster, 10/10 trilogy. I haven't decided what I'll play next, I'm still in the afterglow.

Playing Chaos;Child at the moment and it is so fucking boring. There's something about jap protags in the horror genre that are so unlikable. Every though, action, spoken dialogue is cringy as hell and makes it hard to root for the character. Not to mention the writing style seems to take ten lines of dialogue to describe one sentence of activity. It's getting tedious.

It gets really good later on, chapters 8-11 are kino. Like many VNs, it just has a slow start.

I use my PSP as a PS1 on the go 99% of the time I use it. But I do like to revisit PSP titles every once in a while, like:
- me and my katamari
- dissidia 012
- initial d street stage
- ace combat x

I want to get a ps tv to play persona 4 but they are so expensive

Just hacked mine yesterday. Gonna start playing Grandia and Fire Emblem 6.

I haven't been using my Vita much as of late.
I've been caught up in playing games on my PC.

Apparently some developers are working on getting PSP games running at native res on Vita.

Played a Sega CD version of SNATCHER on the PSP the other day and it was max comfy max soul. Recommended for sure.

Probably not, the Vita was a pretty big blow to them. Mostly for their own reasons, but a big blow nonetheless.

All that old 2D shit to varying degrees, plus PS1. But if you want to play Nintendo games, I would suggest a 3DS.

Very easy if you can get one with the right firmware.
Everything through SNES/Genesis works fine, PS1 and PSP are virtually perfect.

A really shitty port of Borderlands 2 that can be made slightly better with VitaGrafix and LOLicon, which is the best you're gonna get for portable loot n shoot until Gearbox decides they want to make asstons of cash and ports it to the Switch

Can you use the original portraits in the remakes? I REALLY do not like the new ones.

It's a bootleg grip off Ebay. Just type "Vita Grip R2 L2" and you'll find it easily. It's about $20.

It only comes with R2 and L2. But you can buy an attachment for it that adds R3 and L3. I never bothered because most PS1 games just don't use those buttons.

Dusted off my old PSP that I haven't touched in about 10 years, because I just picked up Valkyrie Profile, since I never played it in the past. Pretty gud game.

you have to crack open your battery on the 1000 and do a hard mod. the go uses different file structure systems, so you need to do the steps differently and alot of plugins just dont work on it

This hasn't been the case in fucking years m8. You can install CFW easily as fuck on all PSP models with the exception of the GO, without having to fuck with the battery.

I got a Go and all I had to do was put a file on the memory and run it.

Bought a used one for 80dollars a few days ago, wanted to hack but updated to current 3.71 firmware. Is the hacking scene still sketchy or should I still wait a few months? I just want to use an actual micro SD card before any ISOs

I bought pic related for very cheap awhile back for the larger hand grips. Looks weird but is surprisingly comfy, only shitty part is you can't charge the vita while the grip is locked in.

You can with the Nyko one but I found this style of grip incredibly uncomfortable. Your hands feel miles away from the system and the long grips in particular felt way too long. If you have a 1000 I recommend this one:

I got mine for like $5 and it's helped a lot, but this has no trigger grips or charging port so it's really up to what you need.

Looks pretty nice but no charging port is definitely an issue. Will consider picking something like that up if the grip itself is more comfortable to use though.
