I want the single player campaign to actually be descent. Maybe with co op, a harder difficulty, and areas being a bit larger would be way better.
And it would be a day 1 buy from me if they add new interactive map objects, and use them more, I think the fans, rails, and the speed booster things weren't used that much on mp maps, But they were used a LOT in salmon run tho, and that's why I play it everyday.
They should obviously add more weapon types, new gears, new abilities, more maps and more modes.
One thing I felt was missing on the 2nd game is voice chat and an add friend option, communication is essential and I don't want to stick with booyah and this way! They should make voice chatting easier and/or add more dialogue options, and of course, let me add the person who booya'd back please

that's what you're supposed to do, it's a short ranged blaster. if you feel you're not turfing enough (which isn't a blasters job) then throw on some special charge and sub ink saver.

Just look at art you like, see what they do with their shading and line techniques and then try to incorporate it into your work. Really think about what sort of brushes they use, when they use hard shading vs gradients, etc etc. Try and make sure you're always experimenting with trying something new with each drawing you do. And of course take the time to watch tutorials for the program you're working with because I guarantee there are a shit load of tools that you'll find very helpful when you discover them.
If you're looking for something random to try and improve, I'd say experiment with line weight. Obviously shading and highlights are the key to giving an image depth, but even a drawing with flat colors can get some depth just by being strategic with line thickness.

Maybe try hitting up some anatomy practice if you're not already. It's always good for your skills to do lots and lots of anatomy practice and just doing aimless practice might help you get more accustomed to drawing digitally. Line-of-action is my go to. They've got timed class modes that give you poses starting with quick time limits to get you warmed up before gradually increasing.

because the massive grate area, cramped enclosure, and basket placement make nearly every boss more of a pain to deal with

the thing is, going to the island to kill the two largest threats is a good idea as long as you're quick about it. other bosses will follow you back to the main island so you don't need to worry about those. drizzlers are also easy to kill with their missiles when they're on the other island too as long as you're paying attention.
of course the difficulty really comes from randoms going over there, killing what they shouldn't, not killing what they should, staying there way too long, and dying.

some things to note though:
they may get crafty and try the other platform, so you have to watch both of them.
if they're still determined to go over there after a bit, then just let them since it's more important for you to kill the incoming fish instead.
only bother reviving them with a bomb if it's safe or you desperately need them to kill the stingers. don't want to waste most of your ink tank on someone who will continue being useless.
even if both propellers are activated, you can still jump to them from the grates if you need to. fortunately it's not common knowledge to the average island racing freelancer.
