As far as "games as art" goes, it all too rarely gets brought up.
But then a drugged out version of the Tower of Babel wouldn't get mentioned. But then it never gets mentioned in Christian Game threads anyway.
Did it fly entirely under the radar?
Also the 360 of Criminal Origins is fine, its the sequel that I'd say play on PC if you play it at all.

For condemned criminal origins user:
It gets better as it goes along, places become more intense and enemies can really get the drop on you.
The graphics haven't aged well but pretty much everything else is intact, the final third of the game especially.

El Shaddai user here. I absolutely agree. I just got around to getting it recently after hearing it was a supposed hidden gem and boy did it surprise me. Its a fucking crime this game didn't sell better. I recall reading about it a long, long time ago about it being based on a religious Christian text and it didn't sound very exciting.

I recommend this game to anyone 100%. The art style is unique on its own.

During Vanilla I played Horde but I switched to Alliance from TBC to MOP and then I quit. I'm coming back to my root and rolling Horde with a group of friend on Stalagg, I can't fucking wait anymore man I'm so excited!

A couple weeks ago I blocked the only friend I had left. On one side I kind of enjoyed hanging out with him but on the other side he was an idiot, so I just decided to get rid of him.

I need to place first in a TDM and a rally race for the Numero Uno trophy, those require 4 players minimum and I haven’t gotten around to getting a group together or doing it with open matchmaking. Also need the Backseat Driver trophy which is for directing a driver to first place in a rally race, so if I do the first trophy this one will come naturally as well.

Dunno on the Rune Factory stuff. I've not ever emulated Wii yet. I was playing 1 on my actual DS, but my copy freezes constantly. Several of my original DS games aren't working anymore, in fact. it's very disappointing.

Despair. I've already done all I could in VH and I can't find what to play next. I keep hopping from a game to another and none motivates me to play till the end.

El Shaddai user back here again. And what a trip it is. Seriously, a marvelous game. Its really sad the studio/publisher went out business. The game even ends on a cliffhanger which kind of implies they were planning a sequel.

Try Lobotomy Corp, it's the only recent game that has really hooked me and the threads are really nice. Would recommend trying before buying though, it's not for everyone.

Starsector. I am not very good though. I suck at fitting ships. I got a bunch of Wolf ships and kites. Works well against pirates at least so far. Want to get a big ship to tie it all together.. Tried out the pirate refitted cargo mothership but it was too clunky and got wrecked easily in simulators. I might not have had any good weapons on it though.
