Bentley stepping up as the real leader of the gang. The guy got crippled by a robot owl/tiger thing and made himself a fully-armed wheelchair, I figure he just stopped giving a fuck and started being more underhanded and devious.
Plus in 2 he was regularly sedating guards then shoving explosives in their pockets to kill them.
