Yeah, that "movie" bullshit is retarded. It made sense with Metal Gear Solid 4 and I guess it also makes sense with The Order 1803, but it doesn't apply at all to The Last of Us or God of War.

I've tried both at a friends house and Last of Us was rather disappointing. It had pretty good visuals for a console game and you can tell a lot of effort went into map design which I liked, but overall the AI was pretty garbage and spending long segments of time moving objects (Which I presume were all just cleverly designed loading screens) and slowly moving random debris. I don't understand the hype behind it, although I also only played it for about two hours so maybe it picks up later in the game.
