great idea putting those fucking magnets there

There is a DPI button on the mouse

If you are pleb enough to need a sniper button you can set that up with software user

>wireless
name a reason wireless is bad that isn't based on your outdated views on wireless technology

for me its g603 but after wheel encoder change.

anyone got a Modecom mouse? I've got a keyboard from them, it's pretty good and after 8 years it's finally time for a new mouse, this one looks similar to the one I have in shape and ammount and placement of extra buttons and it's pretty cheap, any opinions?

Anyone spending more than $20 on a mouse is a fucking braindead pseudogamer

Not who you are responding to, but there are far more issues that can occur when using a wireless controller or mouse. I'd rather not ever have to worry about my mouse/controller randomly dying on me, but I can understand the benefits to not having the connection.

Based GPW chadbro

I have both this and the g pro.
They're for totally different things, night and day.

I use it for everything, that scroll is dreamy.

I had one but the scroll wheel broke after a month

It's only wireless if you choose for it to be. G703 wireless has actually been shown to be faster than a wired mouse.

Every few days I have to spend 15 seconds unplugging the wireless dongle and then plugging the cord into my mouse. Then it performs as a wired mouse.

G703 is cash.

What games do you play with your $20 mouse?

What's the best poorfag mouse

Attached: 1471449010494.jpg (600x589, 81K)

Sensor is shit compared to HERO. I had the original mx performance and loved the buttons, but 12000 DPI is nice. My cursor moves when I blink it's so goddamn sensitive.

g103

Is the g203 the same thing?

genuinely not good for gaming

Can't handle fast movements, so its shit for shooters, 2.4 ghz connector has 20+ ms latency more than wired mice or good wireless gaming mice.

it completely shits the bed

I got a G203 for $20 and it works pretty well if you like the shape, it tracks perfectly. But I'd still get a wireless G Pro if I could afford it.

yes

Is there really a difference between mouses? I've used like 5 in my life and they all feel the exact same.
Except the G pro, sometimes it randomly double or triple clicks when I press the mouse button once. It sucks when I have multiple windows open and I click x on one and several behind it close as well but it doesn't happen that often so whatever.

>Is there really a difference between mouses?
Some have shitty sensors that won't track properly. Other than that, it's mostly just shape preference.

It's G403 for me

Attached: v2imm7w1dgm21.jpg (2736x3648, 836K)

Nope, I've used 5 dollar and 150 dollar mouses both do the same shit.Only ergonomics are different.

>has no cord
uhhhhh hello?

Yes absolutely, but the only poorfag mouse that is worth a damn is the g203. g203 is the mouse that is like $15 that can hardly be considered improved upon going up in price.

>people think """"modern"""" wireless is faster
how can you fall for such obvious lies?

nothing compares

G305chads rise up!

still rocking my blue deathadder from 2007

Anyone bitching about the battery life on wireless mice just hasn't heard of the G305, that thing is a fucking trooper. I haven't changed the battery since February.

You know, objective measurements and stuff.

>wireless

batteries literally last months on wireless mice these days. that's not including ones with built in rechargeable batters which last just as much and can recharge in an hour or 2 via usb. it's literally ancient information that these faggots repeat and spew out instead of actually looking up proper and up to date information. then again it is Yea Forums, they believe in fucking anything like the retarded hivemind it is.

Logitech G500 = Divine

Wireless sensors with the 3360 or variant of that have pretty bleh battery life tbf. Logitech wireless stuff that is using their latest proprietary hero sensor is absurdly efficient though and have crazy battery life.

lol fucking brainlet, learn about nikola tesla

also here is the real best mouse

What are some good mice that don't require gay ass software/minimal software?

Give me one reason to switch out this bad boy, going strong since 5+ years

This board is composed of tech illiterate redditors, shouldn't come off as a surprise unless you're new yourself.

zowie mice require 0 software

we get it, you spent $150 usd on a mouse (for playing games), and you want to feel good about your purchase

not pic related

I have the GPW as well as EC2-A+Divina and I like the EC2's a fuck ton more personally

I have a zowie mouse and I have to use 3rd party software to remap one of the side buttons to CTRL

>DPI buttons
People actually use that shit?
I rebind them on every mouse I have.

>I haven't changed the battery since February
Isn't the G305 non rechargable

Yes, it has a battery in it.

does anyone know why my mouse double clicks randomly, it started off double clicking the right mouse button but now that ive put both my keyboard and mouse into a usb 2.0 slot even my keyboard will pretend im holding down space bar

>a video of the mx mouse sensor spinning out doesn't count because its from the wrong youtuber!

>Is there really a difference between mouses?
Like the 3% performance difference in top end graphic cards. No one actually NOTICES it until it's pointed out. But when you have autistic faggots running a barrage of tests against it to notice that 0.2% difference in performance, all the sudden these assholes come climbing out of their holes and screaming about how they always could tell there was a difference and how their product is the best of the best and everything else is shit because it performs 0.2% better.

You'd never notice the difference. between 12ms and 18ms. It's all in your head.

Anyone compare their G400s against the G402 in terms of size? I kinda want a slightly bigger mouse.

Does the G703 use a ratcheting or free spinning scroll wheel?

I don't think the problem with the G305 is the battery life, so much as the shape and size. It seems better fitted for smaller-handed palm-grip users. I am more of a medium-sized claw-grip user, so I think the G Pro Wireless would fit my needs more. The modding community is much more robust with the G305, though.

absolutely fucking based

Because you bought a logitech mouse which are basically trash

The GPW simply costs too much but it is basically the best mouse money can buy. I bought a Model O as its 1) much cheaper and 2) 99% as good.

this is the one, no stupid gimmicks to jack up the price, just a functional mouse

g300s

I have both and I can't go back to wired after using the GPW

the wireless feature alone is worth $100

>they will never make mice this good ever again

Attached: 1156156.jpg (1300x1218, 209K)

the G305 is perfectly usable for claw grip imo

Z-Gang

I still have a pre-BenQ FK1 going strong. Money well spent.

*Wheel starts to double click.*

bros how hard is it to open a mouse and fix double clicking issue?? I saw on youtube it's just a metal spring thingy but I don't wanna mess it up

I dunno - I sure can't feel the cable on my Model O which eats into the GPW's biggest selling point (being wireless).

Not that hard.
Probably have to remove the rubber pads to get to some screws but that's about it.
Could try just spraying some isopropylalcohol in there.

Opening it is not hard at all, putting the spring thing back properly however...
I tried it with my old g400 but never managed to get it working again. If the double click is so bad that the mouse is already unusable than i suppose you have nothing to lose, just don't go in without a plan for the replacement.

10 year old G400

for me? its the non stock photo of a Zowie EC-A!

Attached: hhkb x zowie.jpg (3264x2448, 1.45M)

Just bought this thing to upgrade from a shitty $10 mouse and it's so much better

My EC1 is so fucking comfortable it is unreal.

I tried and failed miserably and lost the fucking springy dipshit trying to fix it. It's probably easier desoldering it and soldering in a new switch. My experiences with double click issues made me decide to never buy mice with omron switches unless I intend to try change them and just go with huano instead. I enver had issues with huano switches.

I think I'm going to get a g305 to replace my old ass mouse that's like melted on the side. I also need to replace my keyboard, are there any good recommendations for that side that are in the same vein as the g305 (no extra bullshit, just works gud)?

You pop it open, pull out the microswitch, put a new microswitch in. Now if the microswitch is soldered in, you desolder it, pull the microswitch out, then solder it in. EZPZ.

If you don't know how to solder, then educate yourself.
youtube.com/watch?v=vIT4ra6Mo0s

Fair warning, if you have big(wide in particular) hands, the g305 shape is not fun to use because the shape of the sides slopes inwards. Filco kb's are the ultimate utilitarian no bullshit keyboard, but Ducky is of commensurately good quality.

>MX518 for comfy long term use
>G Pro Hero for fps precision
Why haven't you joined the two-mouse master race?

Divina S2 reporting in.

scuse me, superior mouse coming through

For me it this, 10$ from the chink store, and I don't get wrist pain anymore.

Attached: 5bucks.png (1000x905, 261K)

Mouse wheel on mine starting shitting the bed around 5 years, replaced the wheel but that one started having problems a few months later so I just got the 403. I use the wheel a lot, and every mouse I've owned it was the thing that started going bad first.

No reason.

>feeding the chink machine
I've tried similar. Think the pressure of resting my arm in an upright position actually put more pressure on my wrist joints since it's makes the lower bone push against the other instead of sharing similar weight against the table.

>wireless

Attached: 1545525136473.jpg (727x480, 38K)

good taste

I bought that one for mmos while it was on sale, kinda regret it now since I only use like 4 of its buttons anyways.

Suggest to me a wireless mouse with 4 extra buttons. Was considering the g502 lightspeed but its kinda a bit expensive.

>feeding the chink machine
because buying any mainstream brand isn't feeding the chink machine right? they're all made in asia

Best mouse for lazy fingertip users? My thumb can't reach the front side button on most mice.

Right now you don't really have much of a choice with wireless gaming mice. Only Logitech 100$ and up mice have long battery life, wirelike latency and flawless sensor (g305 is an exception)

G502 is probably your best bet, afaik razer doesn't have a good wireless mouse with lots of buttons.
Corsairs modern wireless mice supposedly have very low latency, the ironclaw might be decent and I can find that on amazon for under 100.

You can get the 603, 703, and 903 on Amazon right now for less than $100
