I used to think that was a joke, but it's probably true by now. I literally never hear about D3. Meanwhile every now and then I see posts and articles about D2 and Median, updates/releases, youtube videos and whatnot. It's a shame because I really wanted a game to replace Diablo 3, but PoE is too different and autistic, Torchlight is fucking boring and Grim Dawn is just it's own thing. Maybe it's time I let go off this dying genre.

It's a very casual, simplified ARPG so no it is not too late, very easy to get into with little time investment. Not sure how good the console version is but I prefer using a keyboard and mouse for ARPGS.

A lot of people play it solo only, it's pretty fun. Just pick whatever class looks coolest, doesn't really matter which one is best. Do the campaign which is basically a tutorial and then do adventure mode (need Reaper of Souls for it which is the real game, without it game isn't really worth playing after you do campaign once)
