WHY DOES NO ONE EVER PLAY MY COURSES REEEEEE

Because no one is playing this game anymore in general. It was just a flavor of the week.

NOO Yea ForumsROS, HOW CAN BE THIS HAPPENING TO ME AND MY FUCKING 0/0 LEVELS
Also, fuck Nintendo for not updating the game or at least teasing them, what the fuck

your courses suck
not at all, it's very active. Mods were fags though and kept removing the threads

if your course isn't
>20 second speed run
>auto mario
>music
>"advertised" by youtubers
then you ain't getting players

I'd say to shill your levels in Yea Forums threads, but most threads for this game have been really slow lately, even though the game itself is plenty active.

>your courses suck
I'm sorry I can't make auto mario scroller #9000 and mash kanji into the name

auto marios aren't even popular in SMM2, they were only popular in the first game

>auto marios aren't even popular in SMM2
That is literally all I see, or "JUST HOLD Y AND GO XD"

where are you seeing them? I rarely see any

They sink to easy endless though, where they get tons of plays and kiddos instinctively hitting the like button. Jokes on them; my 5 year old daughter’s favorite color is purple, so she hits the boo button every time she beats a level. I haven’t had the heart to tell her yet...

>They sink to easy endless though
wrong, automario courses never appear in endless mode in mario maker 2. They are filtered out as long as they have the automario tag. Same goes for multiplayer.

Ive seen a lot of both in endless, but never paid attention to the tags. Intaderesting. Granted, I’ve also seen some surprisingly tough levels in easy endless, so either everyone else found a way to cheese them that I’m missing, or Nintendo’s algorithms are less then perfect.

the latter, I don't think any ways to intentionally cheese the algorithm are known. The algorithm in general is a complete mystery.

Only way to get people to play your levels is to constantly shill them everywhere.

And if you want to get popular you have to have a 50% like ratio and over 50 plays.
And if you get into popular, your level will be played by 8 year olds who aren't good at mario

Can we all agree that SMW's version of ghost houses is the worst one?

>They are filtered out as long as they have the automario tag. Same goes for multiplayer.
Is there one single tag where they don't get filtered out? Literally no one fucking plays my levels at all and it's tiring as fuck to spend time perfecting shit only to get no plays.

SMW has the worst version of absolutely everything.

No retard.

Complete disagree. I love the ghost house in SMW, and the art style of SMW in general.

How far do I have to go for easy endless achievement? These levels are shit.

Do you all think they'll update the game with new content (for free)? My biggest complaint is lack of enemy variety. There should also be more options for tilesets for background and general decorations.

>TRUTH
Everything this man says is true, and I’ll add to it that plays without likes drops your Maker Point total one or two points each time, more if they don’t beat your level and have to skip. A boo on your level can hurt you at least 10 points or more, probably worse if they didn’t beat it.

I’m not keen on the idea of just a play itself without a like not being a neutral thing but actually hurting your points.

I’ll play your level later user when I get home, I don’t use my Switch in public.

Well your opinion is bad. The SMW Ghost House music is super annoying because of how short the loop is, and it doesn't sound spooky. And the colors in the style are too warm.
SMB3's Ghost House is amazing.

Go look at the leaderboards, at top of the heap stands a guy named Dsteves who is over 30,000 endless easy clears. That means he literally does nothing else but play those shit levels, day in and day out, for the last two months and I assume for the rest of his life. Think about what kind of person is like that.
