1. Yes. If you're heated you need to be spamming Gauss Round and Ricochet between GCDs. If you get all of your charges filled in both then you fucked up and are losing DPS. It's admittedly hard to weave in even just a single one of them, though, depending on your ping, so you usually want to heat up right after you used all of your charges in both. It becomes easier to keep from wasting it once you get the third charge.
2. Yes, usually. I think it's a slight DPS increase to use it at 100 battery, rather than at 50 battery twice. It's a bigger DPS increase with the Queen, though.
3. You use Flamethrower when Bio Cannon is on CD and you don't have any heat. Flamethrower's different from basically every other DoT in the game because it ticks every second instead of every three seconds, since it's channeled. So it's 1000 potency over 10 seconds, a vast DPS increase over spamming Spread Shot.

You won't be in range to heal the DPS when they get flung. And they shouldn't take much damage unless they fuck up their tethers. Just get towards about the center of the arena after the punch goes off and your tether breaks, and then top everybody off and get ready to heal through the stack marker. The big thing to worry about during that phase is that both tanks are constantly taking about 18k from auto attacks, so be sure you keep regens on them and don't neglect them.

I mostly just have bad healers when we fill for our mount farms. DPS who say they've cleared fifteen times but die to phantom runes. Only time I've consistently done well with pugs is when I invite them to voice chat and they actually join, because a call out can save them from their brain damage. Also some folks are still relatively new to the game and just hitting 80 or were into doing other things before then. Unfortunately that does mean they'll be paired with straight up baddies.

But then I've had horrible luck even with Duty Complete fags too. So many people who were obviously carried hard.

In comparison to HW and ShB, the story was just not as interesting and important. There's also the fixed 2.5s GCD that Tsubame Gaeshi triggers that feels like absolute dog shit, everything getting misaligned if you're not at certain skill speed/GCD values, and that shitty iaijutsu fixed 1.3s cast trait that is actually a hidden nerf because then the iaijutsu cast doesn't follow Shifu and your SKS anymore.
Then Yoshida comes and is like "yeah samurai does less raw damage because their burst is every 60s and so it's easy for it to align with the party buffs" as if SAM actually had damage bursts at all in the first place, and as if the other melee DPS don't profit from these party buffs too.

It's like 40% BLM and then the rest split between SAM, RDM, BRD and DNC.

They still stretch and conform to fit different bodies. It's a matter of adjusting a couple sliders to make Lalafell gear fit on a Roegadyn and vice versa.
Viera and Hrothgar not getting helmets is a great example though, they absolutely can introduce races that get little or no visible change from different equipment if the method of adjusting gear to their strange body is too complicated. I'm sure people would love to play as beast races and shit like that even if many different types of gear didn't cause visible change to them.

because (Kaiten) Midare (and Tsubame Gaeshi) is a big potency move and so naturally, since crit and direct hits are multiplicative the difference between getting a direct crit and not getting it is massive.
Before 5.0 we had shinten spam which meant we had lower damage per hit, but also lower variance in damage overall.

I haven't finished Heavensward yet but so far it seems pretty lackluster given how much all of you fags have said it's the greatest expansion ever or whatever. I haven't felt any real attachment to any of the characters at all like I did with the Scions in ARR. I'm not sure if I should feel bad about the dragons, side with the elf fags or just not care at all. I lean more towards the latter. It seems like the only reason anyone would like this so much is because HURR DURR DRAGONS SO COOL. Does it get any better later on or is it all just the same?

SCH healing is pretty ridiculous so I’d say so. I’d personally say WHM is the best healer right now but while both WHM and AST have been in the cuckshed at times SCH has consistently performed well, and it’s had the highest highs of all the healers.
