I hate the shooting in counterstrike. That the crosshairs don't follow the recoil fucking pisses me off regardless of being an actual mechanic or not. I want bullets to go in the general area that i'm shooting even if the camera has to move to make that true. I don't want to have to stare at the floor to shoot correctly.

Don't bother, Zombie Escape is fucking trash and its the only zombie mode you'll find in Nu CS.
Literally all you do is run away from the zombies to the end of the level. That's it.

No, custom modes are dead. Its only surf, Zombie Escape, and 1v1. That's the only custom modes you'll find in GO.

The level design and chokepoints are the backbone of Zombie Escape. Otherwise there's absolutely 0 melee combat. If the zombie reaches you then you better grenade+knockback or you're dead.

Source engine can have plenty of soul. It's just that most of the mappers are shit and continually pump out garbage. Never understood why server owners would want to host these shitty maps when theres the top 5% that are even better than official maps.
