I did not realize I missed Guitar Hero until I saw a gameplay of it. Why was it so good?
I did not realize I missed Guitar Hero until I saw a gameplay of it. Why was it so good?
Might as well ask here. Are there any new free guitar hero pc clones anymore?
Played a lot of frets on fire, but I think it was abandoned and it doesn't work very well on newer systems.
Clone Hero
at first thought you were joking, but apparently it's a real thing. thanks i'll give it a try.
I still have my guitar and have tried getting back into it, but get bored real quick. Also when i look in the mirror i feel like a complete failure of a person with the toy guitar. I bought DJ Hero with turntable for $5 at a garage sale and had an okay time with that as well.
Play a real guitar, retard
ok tried it for a song. it's not very great. took me a while to get the controls at least close to right for keyboard and after that the menus were almost impossible to navigate.
no idea why they didn't go for the frets on fire control scheme. that was pretty much perfect for keyboard. you could hold it like a plastic guitar
You're supposed to use the guitar controller brainlet
If we follow this arguement and apply it into a different genre, do you think people who enjoy first person shooters should go out, buy guns and shoot real people? Surely, even you can not be this much of a, dare I say, retard?
already have an audient id14, a fender jazz bass and guitar rig 5 so i don't really need it.
i get that but kinda annoying not to make it work with both. if you map the keyboard controls to F1-F5 and enter for the strum it's more or less the same as using guitar controller.
Go outside
Learning a skill as opposed to just murdering for the sake of murdering cannot be compared and quite the jump.
It is quite a jump to tell people to pick up a skill that takes decades to master when they just want to play a fun rythm game.
real guitar doesn't give you 4x multiplier on a note streak
I tried. It doesn't feel the same at all. Piano is closer to the guitar hero feel than fucking guitars.
No one is saying you have to master anything. It doesn’t take long to learn a few chords or play power chord rock music.
I used to love the first two GH games, but I also played actual guitar, and guitar hero started to feel like a waste of time.
Learning to shoot isn’t a bad thing either.
I remember enjoying The Sims. One day as i was watching my dude study and work out to improve his life while i was a miserable neet it lit a fire in me. I wasnt disable, dumb or out of options, just wasting time. Got fit, got back into school got a stable job.
Just rebind the keys you retard.
Post the absolute best RB/GH song, go!
but i don't want to play a real guitar, i want to play a rhythm game.
i regret nothing

Guitar Hero... has changed..
they call them modcharts but really they're videos played against a transparent or invisible fretboard
they're pretty fun
Now that is a positive experience.
>not even 5 000 songs
Also it's not recommended to run CH from your user directory, as it can cause permission issues. Move it to C: root.
>do you think people who enjoy first person shooters should go out, buy guns and shoot real people?
No, but people who enjoy FPSs should go out, buy guns and shoot.
I play Rock Band 4 on Xbone. AMA
Why?
phase shift if you like rock band
clone hero if you like guitar hero
phase shift is objectively the better game but clone hero is more popular
Best plastic toy guitar ever, coming through.
>playing video games
>solving puzzles
>performing inputs based on sequences
it's just math
do math retard
Phase Shift is abandoned by the devs and doesn't properly support open notes or disjoint chords. It has drums and online, but the guitar engine is far better in CH, and CH is getting online next month and drums soon™.
I wasn't into Guitar Hero, but Dj Hero is greatly underrated.

I can't get Chopped Chimneys, Ivory through Escalate, Fatalism, Thrice A, or the first half of the solo out of my head. It's been like this for months. It's too good.
I wish S4 and S5 weren't so fucking long or it'd be fun to play them once in a while
I just break them up into parts. I usually do from the start to Moment to Reflect, Pirates to Hell's Gate, and Xyphos to the end for S5. Not as much of a fan of S4. Soul of a Robot can eat my shit.
I've tech FC everything but I don't have enough stamina to last for entire 20 minutes of this
