I love Metro Exodus. Until the fucking game bugged out on me and had the current objective at a place I'd finished already. Fucking hell. Has a game ever bugged on you so badly that you just rage uninstall it? I was having a lot of fun with the game until that point, and was impressed by the LACK of bugs. Then, boom, worst bug I've had in a long time. And I play Bethesda games.

The game is pretty good for being an indie game. It has its issues, but the the dev team is small and this is their first attempt at a shippable game. The publisher took their game though and had it improved by another dev company, too. The soundtrack is great, too.
I bought it when it was $20.

Yes, it's a love letter to the mecha genre.
For example it's final level us a mix between 0079 colony drop and the ace combat satellite drop, it has your usual Amuro Vs. Char, the AC silent protag piloting a Valkyrie, it even has the "it's going 3 times the normal speed" speech.
All in all it's a fun____ game.
