I suppose I regret not getting Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition before it got delisted.
*crashes every 10 minutes*
How the fuck can I play this game properly it's so annoying.
Magic the Gathering Arena in its initial 'everyone's clicking on the meme and literally nobody knows what the fuck they're doing' phase.
I don't know why I skipped out on it.
I mean, every multiplayer game is better in that phase. But Magic especially.
It ran relatively fine for me on PS3, but PC is a dumpster fire even with the fan patch.
Deadly Premonition is one of the best, worst games ever made.
I could never get into it until I finally watched Twin Peaks with my GF, and then we finally took turns playing this game because the driving sections are so fucking tedious sometimes.
Was it worth it? God, not really. The only thing the game really makes me thankful for is that they didn't go in the original direction which was MORE TWIN PEAKS. Then on top of it the generic Silent Hill 2 style gameplay doesn't really make up for it.
Then the protagonist ends up being George?! How fucking shocking, considering how close it is to Twin Peaks. You can even see pictures of characters from that show on the walls in the game. THE FIRST GIRL THAT'S MURDERED HAS A BEDROOM IDENTICAL TO THE BEDROOM IN TWIN PEAKS
>*groans*
>I don't want to dieeeeeeehhh...
They should have given the zombies or whatever the fuck they were some more death lines.
What do you mean?
You have...
"I dont want to diieeee..."
"Don't want to diiieeee..."
"Don't let me dieeeee...."
"I saw you..."
And
"Bark bark!"
If you meet the giant car-destroying dog on the road.
>If you meet the giant car-destroying dog on the road.
Those fuckers legit spooked me first time I saw them.
>we finally took turns playing this game because the driving sections are so fucking tedious sometimes.
>not enjoying York's comfy storytime
Get out.
There is no better feeling than playing Deadly Premonition when your name is Zach
Obviously I was there with her.
Being a B-Movie lover I really enjoyed the conversations themselves, but the city itself was set up in a way that made driving a lot of tedious roundabout.
>It ran relatively fine for me on PS3
Yes. I suppose in the context of consoles single digit framerates is "fine".
>add sequel hook
>don't make sequel
SWEEEEERRRRRRYYYYYY
Whatever you say, pal.
Have you actually played the game on console? It literally does drop to single digit framerate for extended sequences. It fucking CONSISTENTLY drops to single digit framerate for extended sequences. These are not isolated "physics went made" parts or something. It's not "Oh, it only drops for 2 or 3 seconds and then it's back up again". It's fucking minutes of constant single digit framerate. The devs knew and they didn't give a shit. And retards call that "fine".
>It's fucking minutes of constant single digit framerate.
While I do recall the game getting bad at certain spots nothing remotely close to what you're saying happened to me.
I don't want to pull a 'works on my machine' but it's not something I have experienced, even if it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility with a game as broken as Deadly Premonition.
If I say fine I mean it, I have no interest in misleading someone.
Bull-fucking-shit. Deadly Premonition is notorious for its framerate issues. It struggles to stay above 20fps in normal gameplay. When it pulls the picture in picture shit during the chase sequences, i.e. action sequences when you really want a steady framerate, it absolutely plummets. There is no "works on machine" bullshit with consoles. It doesn't fucking work on anyone's console.
>3 lines that are basically the same
Proved my point.
>pal
You mean ntsc
Bloodborne is locked to 30fps and has dips into 15fps, that's horrendous and a testament of Sony having inferior hardware than the games developed for them and can't handle the demands
I don't like playing old good games it reminds me of the feeling of having missed out
Not even that user, but I remember it stuttering a little, but never to the extent that you're mentioning.
Not picking up that copy of Yakuza 1 I saw cheap as dirt when the PS2 was on its way out. Went to get it and it was gone, years later I find out my mate is the one that snagged it.
360 on Xbox One X is your best bet
Didnt take me long to get anywhere.
Deadly Premonition on PS3 is horrendous performance wise
those one sided conversations were the best part of the game
Watch the PC version of a chase scene
>youtube.com
and then watch the console version of it
>youtube.com
and then come back and tell me it's just "stuttering a little". That useless fucking picture in picture shit cuts the framerate in half instantly on consoles and it stays that way.
You have a good day, user.
>Only drops notably at the chase scene
>Is actually not even that bad, especially because it's a series of quick time events
>The rest of the video looks absolutely fine
Enjoy being a faggot with the version of the game that crashes the most.
>Enjoy being a faggot with the version of the game that crashes the most.
I have the 360 version. It was the only version in existence when I bought the game. It runs better than the PS3 version, which just means it's runs at a slightly lighter shade of shit. It's no wonder you think the PS3 version is "fine" if you can look at that comparison and think "I don't see a problem here", you're either blind or an idiot.
