i spent so many hours playing online at 300 ping. this game taught me how to strafe and wasd. i downloaded a nude texture mod for hotwire. i remember spending hours in a stalemate on hourglass and finally ending it all with an apc engie push. also finding servers that had the secret vehicle/units page open. not enough servers played helicopter maps. fuuuuuuck this game was so fun.

i had a demo of this games multiplayer that was only a single map with a big cavern and field. i played the ever loving shit out of it on dialup and had so much fun

All I remember is that whenever I went out and fought I just died. So I stayed in the base repairing everything. Everytime I did that we won so I guess I was a team player.

Yeah it felt nothing like a genuine FPS. It felt like playing Starcraft 2 in third person shooter. However that made it kinda fun... at least for the accurate damage and getting inside vehicles part.

The red alert version is super fun. Think it's called a path beyond. It's kind of dead and they never really added bots.
