Kill makes the most sense given the topic that they were discussing at the time. If 9S has any inclination about the fact that 2B has killed him and erased his memories multiple times in the past, he might resent her for it and want to lash back out at her before she can get to him again. We aren't really sure if he was at all aware of it at the time though.
We also know that the male androids are prone to going berserk and generally being unstable. Adam could just be trying to induce 9S into embracing that and going full beastmode the same way that he does at the end of the game

That doesn't fit at all. It has to be a transitive verb with 2B being the direct object. "Cope" is intransitive and as such you'd need to change the sentence structure for it to work.
