AvP2 is honestly quite amazing.

Controlling the xenomorph and freerunning up and down walls and ceilings was so stunning when I did it for the first time I'll never forget it. It shows how shitty modern games have really become.

AvP1 and AvP2 have camera stuttering problems when you reach edges and corners.

AJL MOD R2 is essentially a modification that makes the game more like all the aliens and predator movies, weapons, abilities, voices, textures, in order to provide a substantially bigger, realistic and more satisfying experience.

I still don't understand what you damn kids were trying to do with that mod in a death match multiplayer that's designed to play like Quake.
The mod you made was practically made for objective-based cooperative tactical campaigns, not for fucking free for all's. Yet people complain that the mod isn't FUN enough.
That mod was practically made for the campaign and makes AvP2 feel more like AvP2010.

have you even played it? back in the days on the russian bears serves late at night, AJL MOD R2 was THE BEST multiplayer shooter during that time (sadly, not many people knew about it).

Also, nobody wanted to play an Alien or Predator game in the style of Quake. People wanted to be closer to the movies. Besides that, just from a gameplay standpoint, the mod made EVERYTHING better and more fun.

Plasma spammers are weak as shit if they don't charge up their attack. The gun instead is a pain.
I found marines much more powerful than predators.
