Mordhau has great combat but shit maps and a few balance issues that make the main game mode very frustrating at times. There's also been a meta established of axe niggers spazzing about in duell servers and those guys are boring af to fight. Devs are not very communicative and everyone's kinda burned out right now waiting for patchie which will probably dissapoint. The generals on /vg/ keep dying because there's nothing to talk about anymore.

I feel like they tried to do too much, and didn't just release a solid core that promotes community servers and user generated content
The fact servers came out so busted (no slot reservation meant you could be bounced from matchmaking because someone ad hoc joined faster, your party gets split or you simply get kicked from a server you were ALREADY ON on map change) and there's no reliable way to host a listen server for private sessions (only thing we have is a console command guide and some vague directions that mostly break for non-NAT related reasons), the interest would die quick without a ton of content updates from the devs, which never came.
