You need to have your weapon upgraded to at least +5, preferably +6.
Serrated/saw weapons deal bonus damage to beasts. Fire damage works too, so stack both of these bonuses to do big damage.
She's a DPS check. Use fire paper or pump more points into your damage dealing stat. Also, you can deny her heals with an item IIRC.
I actually got this boss first try because I defeated the Blood Starved Beast first and upgraded the fuck out of my character to do so.
>Dodgeborne
>hard as fuck and unforgiving
>can’t carry more than 20 blood vials
Holy fuck kiddo, actually git gud.
I want her to step all over my face.
>Get Saw Cleaver +5
>Get Fire Gems in first chalice dungeon and near the octopus thing at the end of the Church's Hunter Workshop
>Take the flamethrower from the ill guy next to the second lantern of the game
>Always attack the head of Amilia and dodge
+5 is an overkill at that point but it's hella easy
>DPS check is hard
Upgrade your weapons.
Bloodborne is by far the easiest of the souls games with only the DLC bosses and some of the literally broken chalice dungeon bosses being a challange.
the game gives you an item like 50 yards away from her that stops an opponent from healing themselves. Pay more attention to the shit you pick up
DaS1 is way easier
Welp, i remember when i was playing, got stuck on this boss
Had a +4 hammer tho, dont know if thats why it was so hard on me or not
The first stage is litterlly impossible.
Guess you can write another article about how game devs need to respect their players and include an easy mode...
Or you know, you can put in the effort like the rest of us and get good instead of bitching about it.
No. Das 1 has some actually challenging levels. Des also had challenging levels. Das 2 DLC is literally better than bloodborne. Das 3 actually has bosses through out the base game that are a challange and Sekiro is by far the hardest in terms of bosses.
I'm talking about first playthroughs here. Bloodborne plays itself.
Literally 2-3 tries on my first playthrough, wtf u nigga about?
stay south west/east assuming she faces north
roll, don't lock on
dodge properly
fire paper
done.
If you play souls games overleveled you could as well play nintendo games instead
Hammer sucks.
Lmao no it doesn't retard. DaS1 is easier. I have hundreds of hours in each.
>get firefem from brainsucker
>get firegem from hot dog in the first dungeon+
>completely murder her
>cardinal directions
Who the fuck talks like this for souls bosses? Just say left or right
DaS1 is the easiest in the series, including DeS
It's still one of the best though
And if you pop a Beast Pellet on top of that, she just crumbles instead. Orphan is the only difficult thing in BB outside of the chalice dungeons
I actually didn't know what the fuck happened the first time I fought her because she did absolutely nothing.
>Got in
>Use paper because why not, makes weapon look badass
>Get behind her
>Go ham on her ass
>She did absolutely nothing
>She starts praying, healing herself
>I outdamage her heal by pressing the cool attack button
>She finally faces my way
>She dies
It's not like I outgrinded her or anything, I barely upgraded my weapon and I was like lvl 20 - 25.
How can you be so bad?
Ayy mate, if she be be coming up afore, dodge hard to starburst. Give her a volley astern.
sounds like a glitch senpai
>He doesnt remember his first playthrough
I didn't even know where too go
>great ludwigs sword
>put fire gem in
>attack arms and sidestep
>dies in 10 charged hits
Numbing mist you fucking mong, or fire
That's what I thought too.
On my second run I actually got to experience the fight.
And it wasn't really that big of a difference, she only does like two attacks which are big, slow swipes, and her rotation is so fucking slow you can constantly stay on her back without any kind of problem. Damage is pretty fucking pathetic too.
Her heal is actually amazingly fucking bad because of how easy it is to outdamage it with pretty much any weapon, upgraded or not.
It's very subjective. If you start with DaS the fist game play is the hardest, but if you had already finished DeS you already know the ropes of the series, so DeS was most likely harded on the first run and so on.
fire paper
It's true, she is not that hard either way.
Fire based attacks melt her health pool way too fast.
>game is hard because you don't know things you learn later
I mean in terms of actual mechanical difficulty. What's harder in a puzzle or exploration sense is incredibly subjective. I could easily see someone breezing through Dark Souls but not even knowing where to go after Amelia, or vice versa.
Bloodborne demands more of the player mechanically.
I had a harder time with Laurence than Orphan. Orphan was a fun fight
I want her to step all over my dick.
>playing from games and trying to enjoy them
you're just getting what you deserve tbqh, shitter
i hate it when you do like 1% dmg per hit to a boss
its more testing my patience than anything else
First legit easy boss of the game, took me only ten attemtps.
First try.
She's weak to stuff like strafing and pressing dodge.
Even if you get hit, she does no fucking damage, what the fuck is wrong with you people?
Kek
Yeah she's a bitch at +3. Just do Hemwick first
Personally I can't stand the cleaver and there's a saw spear in the sewers near the start. Am I doing it wrong?
You can also summon my girl Henriette for a a jolly co-op Beast Hunt, I usually do for this fight at least.
>be bloodborne
>hard as fuck and unforgiving already
kek
>first playthrough
>overleveled
>upgraded saw cleaver
>literally impossible
>die 30-40 times before finally winning
>second playthrough with a new character
>far lower level than first time
>it's like she's moving in slow motion
>bash her with the fucking cane in one try, taking barely any damage
funny how the late game makes you git gud
I'm hard stuck on demon of hatred
>3 health bars
Fucking why
They have the same untransformed, its just a matter of preference.
Thrust damage vs Range base damage
Too bad Henriette is a retard who keeps dying to the random mobs on the way long before the boss room
Suzaku's Umbrella when he jumps.
Use Malcontent on phase 3.
That fireball is bullshit though.
I don't understand how people can say anything outside of the chalice dungeons is hard in BB, the rally system coupled with the ease of dodging, ease of parrying, copious amounts of stamina you'll have and the ability to have 20 vials (or more with certain runes) make things trivial in so much of the game. Most people who come over from DaS games find it hard just because their default assumption is "got hit, roll away" which puts them on the back foot in a fight.
I am a casual babby who got stuck on snake niggas, but even I beat her on my second try
I think Orphan of Kos can be considered hard just due to how relentless he is compared to every other boss in the game. Maybe Lawrence too just cos he's kinda cheap.
Everything else is EZPZ though.
How many hours of souls games did you play before BB though
Use this. You’ll shit on the game
>Can't even beat Amelia
>Lol just go kill Orphan, bro.
>option 2
Jesus Christ. Of all the bosses in that game you struggled with this dumb bitch that is arguably one of the easiest in the game.
Why do you even play games? You're pathetic, you fucken suck. Fuck you.
I swear this and the cleric beast are 2 bosses that never killed me
Not him but BB was my first soulsborne
I had a bit of trouble at first after BSB the rest of the game was a cakewalk.
After playing through BB a few times I picked up Ds1 and breezes through without a problem. Same with DeS and Ds3. I think you have to be shit at video games to find souls hard
Played DS1 and DS3 before BB, only died to this boss once but i heard its harder if you leave out old yharnam and youre underleveled. If you think this is hard i would recommend not to try Ebrietas
Literally 2 shot this boss with fire attacks
>beat game 3 times
>go on to post in threads saying how easy the game is
>just do X, just do Y lol
There's only one thing that makes most bosses easy in this game for a new player and that is realizing you can just fuck off elsewhere if you're struggling to level up and get upgrade mats. Like doing Vicar before or after Hemwick is like night and day, as it gives you a +5 weapon, levels and some shitty runes. The game is so open with many optional areas you can just outlevel tons of other bosses too.
If you just clear out most of the enemies on the way there before you summon her she's fine.
Talking for the base game, Ebrietas, Wet nurse, Gehrman and Gascoigne were the only bosses who killed me more than once. I've seen people complain about the shadows, yet i got them first try by parrying. Have not played the dlc yet because playing on console with 25 fps is pure torture for me.
>Outleveling most bosses
Reminds me of ds1
Yeah calling bullshit. Wet Nurse is one of the easiest in the game to boot.
>heals herself
Never played snoyblood but let me guess:
You need to use the loiyd talisman counterpart of the game.
Heard that before fighting her as well, then she kicked my ass 4 times before i learned her moves properly
Some people are just good at different things. In DaS2 for example, I beat Fume Knight in 2 tries, Alonne in 1, Smelter Demon in 1, but Mytha took me 5 and Aldia took me 12.
I usually just roll South when she does her attack from the port side or its the starboard one i usually run at a tangent of 27.3 degrees
The only hard part about that fight is that it's a literal headache to learn her moveset, same with Cleric Beast and first-phase Ludwig, Lawrence and Orphan you're better off muting the tv or at least the sfx and relying on sight alone for sound cues same goes for all of the above
or, explore every other option available to you and recc her with +6 weapon, fire paper and hypermode
It's funny how different bosses give trouble to people in souls games. For me it was blood starved beast. Must've tried it at least 15 times.
Ah, you were at my side all along.
that's right, crab
DaS2 isn't better than anything.
Yeah thats possible
There are two ways to utterly break Butthurt Beast, here's the less obvious of the two
Yeet him into the abyss
lmfao
I died to it once due to poison but rekt in the second try. Also got the defiled watchdog 1st try, then i found out i just had insane luck
I never found Amelia hard. I did a lot of grinding when you first get to Yhargul when those snatchers take you before you’re meant to be there, and spent ages trying to defeat Paarl. Went up a shit ton of levels and upgraded all my shit not knowing this was an optional area, when I finally got to the end and killed everything and realised I still had loads to do by the Cathedral the game was super easy as I could just one shot pretty much anything. Killed Amelia first time, didn’t even know she had regen as I was constantly staggering her with my spin to win axe.
>Yeeeearrhh
I died to poison a shit ton in her 2nd phase my first playthrough, of course I sucked at the game still so I wasn't even using antidotes, I also was just trying to stand in front of her and spam l1 because I was a fool, so I kept getting stunlock combo'd to death.
Now I can absolutely massacre her with firepaper and visceral attacks.
True - because of the way bosses stagger. With a weaker weapon you'll be swatting at the same limb for ages before seeing a stagger, likely losing so many vials in the process. Beef your weapon and a bit of your END up and with a modicum of precision you can jail bosses like Amelia without their ever having a chance to get an attack off
Not a hard boss at all if you have experience with souls games but if you start with BB im sure that thing kicks ass
Even then, Orphan is only hard the first time around. After that even Logarius and Maria are harder
>After that even Logarius and Maria are harder
In what universe? This one?
Are you out of your mind or did you get killed by Orphan so many times that you forgot what it's like not to perfect him? Logarius is a wimp and Maria is parry bait from start to finish
Holy fucking shit i forgot how damn hard longarious was for me. Must have died 15 times
Imagine being able to play Bloodborne at something higher than 24fps
>and Maria are harder
Come on now.
>Parry bait
I love how the random hunter npcs are harder than any hunter boss
Took me 4 tries but Cleric Beast, Gascoigne took 10+ tries and Amelia took 8-9
>can't climb the Vilechad ladder anymore since you need like 12k or something.
He's a son of a bitch if you don't know his tricks
Funny thing, this was the first boss I've died to. Those fucking hairs/fur messed my vision up.
First time Ook killed me 164 times while Maria killed me like 17 times. Logarius first time around was easy, I fell off the roof then killed him 2nd try.
In NG+, Maria took me three tries and Logarius killed me twice somehow, his second phase was way harder. Ook was way too easy. I had him down to 5% then I died. Second try I killed him ezpz. Same happened with Laurence (77 tries first time around and used summons, killed him 2nd try on NG+)
Ludwig also took 3 tries 2nd time around.
Ah come on user what's 500 days of nonstop pvp gonna hurt? Just in time for oooOOOH
If you find people, that is.
Ok Reddit
huh
this shit was easy as fuck
Micolash however is the worst boss i've ever seen
>plays an rpg and levels up
>"dude, what are you doing..."
that's you
I'm on a BB jag with a borrowed ps4 and a month's sub and it's hardly on fire but you do see some activity - both diehards and total noobs, people getting ps4s at the end of their cycle I'm thinking
Kek. Bloodborne's as much an rpg as water with ice cubes is soup
is the threaded cane the most stylin weapon in this game?
Yes, especially with enhancement.
you should get a PS4 or PS4 Pro then.
Cane is swagger
Saif is style
>hammer
Use serrated shit and set it on fire if you have problems getting through the dps check. Remember beast enemies are weak to serrated and fire.
What weapon for CHAD?
Boom hammer
Use fire paper, oil urns and molotov cocktails. Could also use that summon sign
I know what you mean. I beat Four Kings on my first try and struggled like heck against nito, at least a dozen attempts to kill him not counting the countless times dying before even getting to him.
Most people like the spear over the cleaver as well. Helps that it's serrated in both forms unlike cleaver.
Stake Driver/Boom Hammer
>pop a fire paper
>use a blood beast pellet
>watch her massive telegraphed attacks
Bam. Done.
Both are boring in pvp.
Absolutely. It also fucks up Amygdala in the defiled chalice dungeon pretty good. Massive range so you can hit that fucking head. It's the best Skill based weapon in my opinion.
wow, you sure showed him
>mfw Laurence with a +10 Whiligig 50 STR build
GLORIOUS BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
This is something Sekiro nuked - there's no real overlevelling.
firepupper almost made me stop going for the plat
That’s exactly how I owned him on NG+. +10 Whirlgig Saw 50 STR and Cursed 20-23% gems... Wtf dude
And on top of that power ups are locked behind bosses. In souls/BB you can clear an area without doing the boss and still collect souls and shards.
Defiled Witch Bitch is just as hard though. Cursed Amygdala is even harder
>Showed my gf Bloodborne a couple weeks back because it's my favourite game
>She actually gets really into it
>Within the frame of two weeks she's beaten the whole game with me cheering her & giving her advice the whole time
>Even beats Cainhurst and gets the true ending
>Decided she'd buy a PS4 so she can replay the game all the way through with me
Feels comfy desu, anyone got any other games we can play together?
We're gonna play DS3 but she really wants to play DS remastered. Might try out A Way Out too.
Get your hands on DeS if you can, it's got some of the most atmospheric levels in the series behind BB imo.
>PS4pro xDDD
How can other game even compete?
Its almost funny how many times the devs throw his meme lines at you when you dont kill him fast enough
475291490
You’re such a Faggot that doesn’t deserve this (you) worse bait but I’mma a bite literally the game tells you to use fire bombs on beast
Ahh, tomb of giants boss run, what a fucking nightmare
It rally was unironcally kino
What's that, you want to pick up this loot on the offchance it's a key item that solves the boss? Here's a second helping of dialogue to mash through
I know right
play demon's souls then dark souls (preferably not remastered since they completely fucked it visually, literally should have just been a port instead) and then play DaS3
Press A to pick u-
GRANT US EYYYES
>Press A to pick u-
>Press A
What?
GRANT US AAAAYS
>he didn't bypass this fight using the secret petting move
oh no no no
>tfw you break her leg, rip chunks out of her face, break her pendant arm then bop her on the head with the hammer
Someone explain how gems work to me
Can I remove them without destroying them after putting them into a weapon?
This boss dies in 30 seconds to a +3 saw cleaver with fire paper.
Bullshit, +6 is way overkill for Amelia even +3 makes her a joke as you can out DPS her heal, if she even gets to do it before dying.
>>can’t carry more than 20 blood vials
You can actually, but 20 is way too much considering how frequently enemies drop them.
The default should've been 10.
With a +3 Saw with Fire and Pellets she will get perpetually stunned as you break each of her limbs and visceral her head.
Literally a one combo kill boss.
Beast Cutter + Boom Hammer
>str cane
I like.
is this a meme
I see this boss on a lot of peoples impossible list buts its literally the easiest one
The one reborn is far harder with its attacks you can't see and massive hp pool
You can't really be overleveled just by killing BSB though, even if you decide to do a few root dungeons after BSB.
Unless he went from level 30 @ BSB to 50 or 60 @ Amelia then he's the intended level.
You can apply and remove gems without penalty, don't go thinking that measly 2.7% increase is irreversible.
Gems are /the/ most important factor for mid to endgame, someone with 50 in STR+SKL and weak gems will be soundly outdamaged by another with base stats and good gems, so you imagine how high the numbers can get (you can unlock up to three slots per weapon and their effects stack)
You get the best gems from the more difficult chalice dungeons
>tfw axebro with fire papers
Also there's numbing mists on a tower near the gate you unlock at the front of the chapel (area where the three doctors are chilling + the snatcher guy with the sack), those negate healing.
Also keep close to prevent healing
Correction:
[A] pick up
Beast Cutter in whip mode is fucking amazing once you find the optimum range to swing it to hit 6+ zombies in a dungeon, you feel like you're doing moves right out a DMC game but in a slow, heavy, weighty souls game.
Though, one mistake or extra greedy swing can get you fucking demolished by a mob, especially with ranged fucks in the mix.
What does he say again?
>>boss that takes a million hits
If this happens to you, either your character or your weapon is underleveled.
>Bloodstarved Beast got stuck in an animation loop when I got to the third phase
It just kept screaming over and over again
How'd that happen
Kiting throngs into a corridor and pancaking them with R2s, or timing a transform after finishing off all but one straggler to break their foot with that satisfying thud
feels goodman
ACQUIRE GREATER VIDEOGAMING PROFICIENCY
How long until I get a good weapon for a BLT build?
I have to get forbidden woods to get the cainhust papers right (evelyn from a chest + chikage with cainhurst badge)? And I heard that if you kill simon you get the bowblade early, right?
I thought you had to kill her to get to the forest?
>You need
No, you don't. Just get used to the combat a bit better.
Throw the anti-healing thing when she starts healing even though it's not necessary.
What's the point of playing the games if every boss is going to kill you a million times and frustrate you.
Hemwick isn't the forbidden woods, once you gain access to the grand cathedral you just go left from the front gates and fight those eyeball witches
Same. After BSB, each boss would take me maybe 3, 4 attempts at the most. Barring a few hunters of course. But god damn, BSB took me forever to get killed.
>Amelia is giving him this much trouble
Never gonna make it
Love me some pancakes.
BB bosses rarely kill you more than 5 times if you have a functional brain.
Ebrietas is easy if you can stay at her asscrack
That's probably the most kino battle in the entire series unless we're counting 5-3 from DeS (but that's not a battle in the usual kind of way)
Close second
You could use false depth chalices to get a chikage as early as BSB.
>Even beats Cainhurst
>even
What? It's not like Cainhurst is a hard area. I guess Logarius is one of the harder bosses in the game, but still.
Also, the area has excellent aesthetics but the level design was kind of lacking.
To claim that everyone who gets frustrated with the game is retarded is a non-response. The game's based off of Dark Souls, and the whole appeal of that game is that you are "going to die over and over again". I have never played BB so I am not biased in this assessment.
I beat bloodborne and summoned for every boss fight past wolfman in the beginning.
I still greatly enjoyed bloodborne.
That's really not the appeal of Dark Souls. That's how it was marketed, but the point of the game is not to die a ton of times.
Shit. That's right, it's the Shadows that you cant fight until after Amelia.
Most people who play the game games killed many times, if YouTube is any indicator. When people say "X is the Dark Souls of Y", they mean that X is very difficult. This comparison would not exist if the difficulty was just marketing.
Agreed, the one reborn is harder than people make him out to be
>Logarius
>Defeated first time
Humanoid bosses are piss poor easy
Nice thumbnail
>Amygdala
>Not easy as fuck
Chose one
>One reborn
Lmao even living failures were harder than that shit
A BLT build is for chewing through NG+
14 str for Bloodletter
14 skl for Chikage
18 arc for augur, bone, roar and gift
40-50 vit
15-30 end
50 blt ofc, get it to at least 35 by the time you get the Chikage
Use a saw, pellets to offset low stats
Save your madman knowledge
Get repeating pistol as your sucker punch
Get impurity rune (optional)
Get summons, grab evelyn and reiter
Beat Martin Librarian for the Chikage
Get rock in Mensis
Beat Wetnurse, pop up to 60 insight, grab second rock, up your Kage and Eve to +10
Enter the Nightmare, kill the strong hunters with impurity rune for vermin, co-op for the rest or just kill Valtr for the snake whistle
Tear through Lud, Failures, Maria with 50 BLT + pellets
Dash to Lighthouse for key to Bloodletter + Bowblade
Kill Law, Orph, Gerhm and Presence
Let the games begin
>the boss is easy if you don't fight them
Fuck these games
Too much to read. Cut out half of the text and I might consider reading it.
The appeal of Dark Souls is that if you don't pay attention and prepare yourself accordingly you're going to die over and over again. In Bloodborne it's more "if you're not deft and aggressive you're gonna lose a lot of your resources, but if you don't pay attention and prepare yourself by gouging your hp stat your progress will be often punctuated by item descriptions".. at least it not pre-patch, FUCK
Here's some wit in brief: suck ma balls
Yeah because most people fucking suck at videogames. More news at 11.
Not much you can do to "prepare yourself" when you enter the boss room and he comes swinging at you with his [EPIC, BLADED FANTASY WEAPON].
That's another non-answer. Don't bother responding if you're just going to post drivel.
You'll only get frustrated if you ignore basic mechanics and just try to YOLO it like w*stern games thinking that whatever you do is fine and "things will work out".
There's tons of things you can abuse to turn "impossible" bosses into 20 second joke fights, especially in the first half of the game.
Up to Dark Souls there's plenty of tools at your disposal to first-try all but a handful of bosses, actually. The marketing engulfed and distorted the gameplay from 2 onward.
>One of the harder
>Hardest in base game
I hate to say “Git Gud” but man is this ladies difficulty overrated. Just dodge her tantrums and keep up the pressure.
Incorrect, you should be preparing yourself by conserving vials, ammo and having a properly upgraded weapon.
Also after the first encounter you can get into damage types and armor resistances: say the boss has a fire weapon, you stack everything fire resistant thing you have.
And some bosses get nuke by certain phys damage types, like kin bosses being super weak to thrust. Same for the giants in the labyrinths everyone get destroyed by, especially ball and the chain one.
Thrust does more than x2 damage to these guys, it's fucking worth it to have a +6 saw spear just to shit on them.
>What's the point of playing the games if every boss is going to kill you a million times and frustrate you.
>he isn't a masochist
>You could use false depth chalices to get a chikage as early as BSB.
Don't those sort of chalices require PS+? Ain't got it atm
DS2 has far more "fair on the first" try bosses.
Every attack of every boss in 2 can be rolled through even at SL1 with base agility.
No Seath forced death bullshit, no BoC platforming bullshit, no dumb stealth boss gimmicks like in Demon's.
DS2 perfected the design archetypes for bosses and most mechanics like delayed boss attacks, charged up boss attacks and BB and DS3 used them to perfection.
The way Orphan of Kos gives you that pause and stare before wrecking your shit is based
What's the point of playing a music instrument if you're don't play perfectly on the first try?
You can always make a new account, give it the ps+ trial, set the console as the primary ps4, and have ps+ for every account on the system that way.
The game is difficult - but to the point where death is frequently inevitable? No, that's the marketing.
On youtube, the uploaders most likely to end up in your feed are bigger names who will have kept abreast of the hype, they will be expecting to be mashed - and what you expect to happen, especially if you are for the most part responsible, will happen.
If you take the troublesome tagline at face value, with every death you might likely think, "ah yes, this game is very hard, I will headbutt that skeleton-shaped wall again til it crumbles" - and it will eventually crumble, and so will all the walls ahead of it, but is that the appeal of it?
Maybe, but I prefer to think that the tagline should be read pragmatically, like a soapstone message that could be written to deceive. If you focus on the "prepare" part and played it cool, you could conceivably enjoy an uninterrupted adventure from the Asylum to Gwyn.. were it not for the Great Hollow, of course.
Same until I learned to just dodge left
>rolling attacks in 2 on first pass at base agi
Come ON now
I agree best boss video game experience I’ve ever had
just picked up the tonitrus and holy fuck is this thing broken early game
I agree orphan is strongest but Maria being Parry Bait is bullshit. Her third phase always gives you residual dmg never letting you get off a party visceral
Now logarius is parry bait
Stop, youre on Yea Forums thats making him scared
post amelia's pussy
outranging cannon giant with the rifle spear felt amazing
Its unironically the truth. You can't judge any piece of art by using the unwashed masses as your standard.
Yes best skill weapon and best move set between its tricked and untricked form. Only has a somewhat difficult time in the beginning and on the more hp bloated ng+ enemies (OoK)
Reddit as fuck post but right
Nah, you can parry her third phase but the parry must be early in the attack before it arcs toward you, otherwise the fire stuns you.
The timings get tighter with each phase, so it's easier just to R1 mash her after a combo than to overly rely on parries.
You can parry from the side even if a parry-triggered kneel must be approached head-on for the visceral. This is especially effective if you can free-aim parries from a roll
Slow walking to mobs with that thing over my shoulder is a kino feeling
Canon giant is way easier if you hug his ass.
You just gotta know the tell for the point blank fire at the ground attack in phase 2, it's pretty fucking devastating.
just farm, stupid, easy
If I press enter twice for breathing room it's reddit
If it's long-winded it's reddit
What else? Ah fuck it, reddit is here, whatchu gonna do about it?
It was neither of those things that gave you away, it was the weird """quirky""" elements that are designed to appeal to redditors but make you look odd and out of place here.
Parries are the weakest aspect of my game I’ll admit, taking advantage of space between enemy attack animations is more natural to me.
Now people who advocate parrying Kos’s second phase are masochist
My nibba. Cane with dapper top hat is the way to go! That was my first playthrough
May the Moonlight shine upon your dick. Thank you.
That's the thing, if you stay outside devastation range you'll have great spacing to stick him with the very tip of the spear
if you dodge back he'll ready a long shot which you can dash straight through and get back to poking
Funny how big tits make pretty much anything fuckable.
posts like these make the bans worth it
>survived papa petrolpenny
>having problems with amelia
you literally cannot not have a +4 weapon before her, you hit her legs and she falls over and is constantly stunlocked. she an absolute joke of a fight.
If you've done Old Yharnam, you will have fire paper and beast blood pellets out the ass too.
I found that new Remnant games harder than BB. BB was by far a more impressive game though, BB 3rd person shooter with flintlocks and muskets when
Use hunters weapons user, they do extra damage to beasts and can more easily break their pose and knock her out of healing
>using the tonitrus
pleb
>out of place
I should hope so
>people saying to go into chalices and get fire gems or +5 your weapon
the fight is literally a joke. shes one of the least agressive bosses in the game, can be crit multiple timesand has a weakness that can be exploited by half the weapons in the game
I unironically always have trouble with the witches of hemwick because they are incredibly aggressive towards me.
Like I've gotten stunlocked to death because they'll launch those projectiles while I'm still paralyzed and I won't be able to move. I've seen other people first try that boss and I'm convinced the game legitimately hates me
Cry me a river. The only good thing that came out of Bloodborne is Vicar Amelia's R34. Do you expect me to discuss a nearly 6 year old game? Fuck out of here and keep posting lewds of Amelia.
Gascoigne and Amelia reward quite different approaches
That's because they're the most womanly. Ass consists of muscles, after all, and even males can have good asses. Males can also have tits, but it's literally a pathology in that case (gynecomastia), and even then they don't look like a woman's tits.
i got bored of using saw cleaver and ive never tried the tonitrus
Yo she is COVERED in light strips of cotton fabric. SET THE BITCH ON FIRE.
When it comes to my experience, I didn't have much trouble with almost any bosses and beat some of them on my first try even (Gehrman, Gascoigne, Darkbeast Paarl, Witch of Hemwick etc). The ones that gave me most trouble (in a sense that it took me a lot of tries) are:
1. Orphan of Kos (had the most deaths to this fucker, he was raping me even when I learned his moves well enough, but when I finally decided to take the battle to the sea part of the arena I beat him in first try)
2. Ludwig
3. Maria
Gap
4. Rom
That's about it.
That's not a very good approach to getting someone to post r34.
If you struggle with Amelia till you learn to focus on one limb at a time it teaches a lesson that pays off with both Paarl and the One Reborn, the former can be tough in spite of his low HP if you go in weak and aren't systematically breaking him - never letting Paarl fully charge is the difference between a cakewalk and winning by a hair
for me it was:
>Orphan
>Ebrietas
>Defiled Amygdala
I never had any difficulty with any boss that was susceptible to parrying like Maria.
Also, did anyone replay BB after Sekiro and find it incredibly easy?
Vicar Amelia is easy though. All her attacks are either 50 feet in front of her or to her right. The only attack she does to the left is a 5 damage tap that is easy to dodge. Hell, every beast boss is like this, forward and to the left makes you damn near untouchable.
>Ebrietas
I took her on when I was near the end of the game (had only Gehrman and Moon Presence left) so I had a high level character and managed to beat her the first time.
>Defiled Amygdala
Haven't played the chalices, never found the will to because I dislike the idea of randomly generated content in a Soulsborne game.
>I never had any difficulty with any boss that was susceptible to parrying like Maria.
I decided to not use parrying because it makes some boss battles too easy.
Tonitrus melts everything but the moveset is so limited and graceless.. if you want simple, busted and tons of fun, try the Boom Hammer
>Das 2 DLC is literally better than bloodborne
I've looked at several peoples lists of bosses they found easy or difficult, and it varies so much. The one theory I have is that it's partially weapon dependent. Hunter Axe playthroughs, for instance, don't seem to have as much trouble with Chalice Amygdala.
Some personal observations, Tonitrus is hard as hell vs. Orphan of Kos. Whirligig Saw worked great against Lawrence.
I'll never understand how people have trouble with Maria. I ran into her boss room for the first time and literally just spammed R1, even as I kept running out of stamina, and it worked.
There’s literally nothing wrong with summoning in an Souls game.
What are some other weapon-related observations? I'm the user you're replying to, I've used a Saw Cleaver throughout all my playthrough and basically nothing else. I don't think I've even used fire paper, molotovs etc.
Her second and third phase are tough, plus one of her attacks has a shitty hitbox.
>summoning
Embarrassing
Saw Cleaver has no real weakness and is one of the "normal difficulty" weapons, mostly because it's top tier dps with very few recovery frames, so you can be hacking away and still dodge attacks by an inch
I have done playthroughs with Saw Cleaver and Saw Spear and they are honestly great on every single encounter.
MORE
>no lawrence
No you don't, killed Amelia and Ludwig with a +3 fire saw at level 25.
My first time fighting Ludwig it took me more than 284 tries, I know because I was counting the pellets I used. Eventually I ran out of pellets and I beat him without one. It's insane how much better you can get at the game just by practicing.
The Canes whip mode trivializes a lot of regular monster encounters with the long range sweeps. Arcane was the hardest build type for me. And the Stake Driver is the least effective weapon I've ever used.
go to e621 and search:

>Arcane was the hardest build type for me
After the patch where they buffed hunter tools to scale with no cap, 99 Arcane build was straight up busted. I remember melting anything and everything with one fucking spell.
No fag just post more, fuck your botnet sites
Do you know if that 99 arcane build still works?
She can heal?
What if I post it on /trash/ ?
Ok retard
Hes more retarded than that, hes completely ignoring that the guide has tips for dealing with Amelia before it even offers the orphan as an option for the rest of the game.
The "feel" of this game is really strange to me.
Just for reference, I've Platinum'd every Dark Souls and Demon's Souls and this is is my first time playing Bloodborne.
The weapons are really obtuse where I'm at; I've recently gotten the Rifle Spear (Dexfag) and its heavy attack is the only reliable move I've found that enemies don't just randomly poise through. I find it extremely difficult to tell when I'm going to cause a stun or not and enemies attacks seem to have already decided that they damage you long before you even have the animation to decide to avoid it or not. It's bizarre.
Break her arms you fucking faggot.
this, I had Orphan on my first try but Laurence fucked me hard
you're a shitter
if you can't beat the easiest boss in the game stop now.
Sure why not, just grab an arcane gem to put on your cleaver from the chalices and ur good too go. There was a guide somewhere to do it fast but I can't be arsed to look for it.
>2nd try Ludwig
>1st try Maria
>7th try living failures
>1st try Orphan
>4th try Laurence
what the fuck happened on my first blind playthrough of the dlc? I'll never know.
th try living failures
st try Orphan
literally retarded
It's pretty well hidden, I'd imagine a lot of people miss it entirely in their first playthrough assuming they do it blind.
It is well hidden, but that user didn't imply she did it blind. That "even" sounds like beating Cainhurst is a hard task.
When's the release date?
Post more spooky dog tits
>Try arcane/skill build
>Keep running out of bullets
>DLC bosses aren't even weak to fire
>can't take advantage of Rally
I Didn't realize how underleveled I was until I tried fighting the DLC bosses. I can't do shit anymore I just want to beat the game
lmao just get skl to 50... how is this hard?
Invest more in arcane, turn your skill weapon into a fire/bolt weapon with gems, use more blood bullets and hunter tools.
Maria doesn’t let you recover, so you have to be really aggressive. You either rape her or she rapes you.
Whirlgig Saw is GOAT
cause I've beat all but three bosses and grinding isn't fun
>In my experience she doesn't tend to heal if you keep close to her and stay aggressive.
>If she does heal throw numbing mist to stop her.
>Use fire as anons have mentioned.
>You can also break her front arms and her head for a stagger and more damage.
>break her hind legs for visceral opportunities.
>literally only one image of Amelia itt
Disappointing
if you have to grind then you leveled wrong.
It's always skl or str up first. learn to dodge.
>DLC bosses aren't even weak to fire
Ludwig is. Arcane is crazy OP you should not be having any problems getting blood or beating foes.
Chalice Dungeons are cancer.
