I'm going full autism and doing the Wetlands death run in reverse. I'll be running my human warrior to Teldrassil to get him to Shadowglen and start working on my reputation for a fucking sabertooth tiger mount. I want the human sword and mace expertise, and the reputation racial will help. Plus, I have the most nostalgia for the Night Elf starting zone of any of them. I love the spider cave, the timed poison cure quest to help the guy who's dying outside of it, and the furbolg cave where you more or less need to group up because of how fast respawns are. It's a lot of fun and has a lot of nostalgia for me.

Gameplay kind of sucks ass solo but quest text is smartly written relative to retail. You're always better off with a singleplayer RPG if that's what you're looking for.

ench is a pain in the dick since youre basically destroying stuff that could be sold for money. Selling your enchanting during leveling up is impossible since you cannot use the AH, meaning youre stuck in the capital trying to sell your enchants. And a lot of people dont think its worth the money to enchant gear thats juts for leveling.

Hell, I remember a time when I actually had to beg people to enchant their gear for free since I didnt have anything to enchant myself. The biggest bullshit however is that you cna only make 2 wands, then later nothing anymore.

Last but not least, you need to get enchanting rods, so youre basically at the mercy of a blacksmith to determine how bad he wants to wreck your asshole, and wallet, to hand you your basic shit. However if you somehow manage to force your way through all of it, and stick with it, its insanely rewarding. A 300/300 enchanter is worth its weight in gold and if you can get a few good recipes (crusader) you can make big bucks enchanting gear. Later if people want to make a twink they often have a lvl 60 to farm gold with, meaning oyu can get good money of that as well

How to be a great tank
Short version
>Be the team dad.
>Know everything.
Check out guides for individual instances, just know them all inside and out.
In particularly if you know the more confusing ones like mara or BRD like the back of your hand you'll be extremely valuable.

Longer version
>Know your class inside and out.
>Know how every enemy will react and how to counter it.
>Know what your team can do and think ahead to potential fuck ups.
>Know what your team can do and utilize their skill set to manage fights, i.e if you lack dps you usually have more CC, hunters and warlocks can use their pets to off-tank briefly.
You're usually the one who makes calls and decisions about directions and the pace of the dungeon itself so your best resource is simply knowing everything you can about an encounter.
Keep a steady pace, if the healer looks like they're not breaking a sweat ask them privately if they want things to speed up, sometimes they might want to just chill.
Slap down unruly DPS hard especially since people are coming from retail where they can be jackasses, if they pull too quickly or constantly break other's CC tell them to knock it off or let them die to whatever dumb thing they caused.
They might leave and screw that run over, but it's better in the long run for that shit not to be encouraged.

Escape artist is the best pvp racial overall, you're probably thinking stoneform, but because you're low IQ you fail to realise that movement impairing effects vastly outnumber bleeds and poisons in pvp.

Don't overlook spirit, it's a good stat while leveling (goes for all classes) because downtime between mobs is what slows you down

There are easier classes to lvl, but it's not that bad if you know what you're doing. Do as many dungeons as possible to keep your gear up to date. Dungeons also provide an easier leveling experience than solo play. It might be a pain until you're max lvl, but once you're there and you start getting decent gear warriors are a blast to play.

Hunter easily. You can get to 60 reasonably quickly without any help or using more than 5 abilities. But if you decide to use the whole toolkit you will end up with 30 keybinds or more.

Every class has a movement impairing effect, escape artist can literally be used against every single opponent, its absolutely prime against melee, and it can also be used well against casters, breaking a nova to avoid shatter, getting into deadzone range of a hunter easier, stoneform is great but it really shines on rogues allowing them to mirror more efficiently

I've been trying out all the classes (except paladin, because why would I put myself through that?) to about level 20 recently, and warrior is by far the worst because at most you can take on 2-3 mobs in a row before having to stop. If you're unlucky with miss / parry you'll have to stop after just one mob.

Alliance PvP racials are much more niche than Horde, where they're pretty much all useful all the time
Shadowmeld is fantastic for hunters, Perception is seriously strong against rogues and even stronger against cat druids, stoneform is fantastic for obvious reasons, and escape artist is pretty useful but its cast time is a big fucking drawback

An OT prot warrior or hunter swinging nightfall has better uptime and contributes more to the raid. I have no idea why you'd want to swing nightfall as ret because you will never get anything.

escape artist is great at clearing rogue and warrior slows after you've rooted them, which allows you to gain distance and start killing/kiting, remember that you cant blink against a warrior until they've used intercept or you'll get fucked

Running MC for gear is pretty much pointless, the effort vs reward is extremely low for most classes and you'll probably only end up only getting any real use out of maybe 1 or 2 items at best. I'll get my preBiS then level alts and farm gold until BWL drops.

If nobody else has tried it I highly recommend playing a paly main with a huntard alt.
Mage alt can achieve similar results but has less synergy and survivability.
