"NO BUT VIDEO GAMES DON'T PROMOTE VIOLENCE"

>"NO BUT VIDEO GAMES DON'T PROMOTE VIOLENCE"

Glad Republicans are finally doing some shit about this, people seem to want to ignore facts and studies

>Violent video games are significantly associated with: increased aggressive behavior, thoughts, and affect; increased physiological arousal; and decreased prosocial (helping) behavior.

>High levels of violent video game exposure have been linked to delinquency, fighting at school and during free play periods, and violent criminal behavior (e.g., self-reported assault, robbery).

theres literally a link right there retard

The article is a sham. There are tons of scientifical studies about violent vidya, and no matter if you play them or not, it doesn't even affect you at all.

Besides all of that, wouldn't the reverse be true? Violent video games allow you to take your psychopathic tendencies and use them on virtual meatbags. Same thing with loli consistently taking pedos off the street.

>knife attacks
>acid attacks
>truck attacks
yeah im good in america

Congratulations. You linked 1 (one) article proving your point amidst a sea of studies proving otherwise. Go cry on Kotaku about how your boyfriend loves Fortnite more than lackluster sex with you.

>the article is a sham
ok why tho

I know it's retribution for not going into the article, but read says.

nice. Oh and by the way, all of this shit is based on definitions. If you define violence or aggression in a specific way you can basically find whatever results you want. I'm not going to go through all of this dude's studies, but if you want to cite their article you're going to have to dig deeper into their studies to point to credibility.

The article itself cites no actual sources. The work cited page is all other things written by the author himself and he fails to list actual studies or findings during his bullet points. He states himself most studies fail to find a tangible correlation, but if you look at them all together then it proves his theory correct because reasons.

People that enjoy playing videogames simply want to play videogames and want to be left alone. Articles like these are the result of allowing faggots and women to have positions of power. The only good thing that comes out of this is that leftists are redpilling gamers. So congratulations, leftists, for digging your own graves. I would've never been into politics if it wasn't for you. Thanks.

Sounds kinda like my research papers LOL :D

what the fuck is wrong with you

Okay but what about violent movies, and violent derogatory nigger culture music? Can we ban all those too?

Maybe less people in America would be violent if divorce laws didn't butt fuck men, living wage actually meant living wage and not barely surviving wage, a single surgery didn't cost more than a house did 10 years ago, and that dick sucking politicians didn't bleed the populace fucking dry over every red cent.

sorry but the supreme court already said no

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_v._Entertainment_Merchants_Association

The proper way to say that would be
>implying anyone on this shithole of a board has a gf, let alone a wife

The way you phrased it makes no sense since it would be a greater stretch for a user to have a wife, so you want to place it after the "let alone" piece.

>mass shootings almost daily
versus
>terror attacks happening very rarely
ok

lmao

Violent games don't make people violent. You aren't going to turn some random kid into a murdered because he played Call of Duty or God of War. Violent, aggressive, people are attracted to violent games because it lets them lash out. I remember doing research into this a while ago, and there were no studies done that proved that people suddenly became violent when consuming violent media. Violent people just like violence in their entertainment.

Warren is based Gramma.

been pretty god for him. got some more hotel deals in russia, gets to skim some off the top for weapons deals in saudi arabia. got to hook up epstein with little girls he keeps at mar-a-lago. and that's all that matters. if the president is living like how i would given the same power

>Same thing with loli consistently taking pedos off the street.

Today I will remind them of of based nintendo employees getting fired for no good reason.

She got fired because she was working as a prostitute and advertising it.

>tfw everyone around me is saying that video games and mental illness doesn't cause violence but i'm a violent, autistic gamer

Pretty sure people had to look up archives of her closed page and even then they only managed to pick her out by a few pictures that showed the blurry edges of her tattoos.
