Ace combat 7 except bandai hasn't released the fucking soundtrack
Also chrono trigger just got a soundtrack release on playasia

Not exactly vidya OST, but fuck man, I want the Limited edition of Children of Termina.

The Talos Principle, Undertale, The Last Guardian, those are some other good ones.
inb4 some fag with hot opinions begs to differ

Even if the game itself is pretty much universally hated by Yea Forums, The Last of Us has a pretty comfy soundtrack. Good for falling asleep to.

What is that one below Hatsune Miku vinyl?

missed out on the colored vinyls. Sold out like in under a minute.

Ah interesting. The Art looked like Ilya Kushinov.

I really want to start collecting vinyl but I have no idea what would be the best turntable to buy. All the ones people suggest are expensive as fuck.

Streets of Rage 2
got mine from Data Discs, still have yet to listen tho
also get the original artist's vinyls instead of the Hotline soundtrack. Sexualizer is a fuckin great record.
>Mother Russia Bleeds soundtrack is slept on btw
game itself was kinda lame, that's why.

addendum: get the Furi OST as well

You have to spend at least $99 and up for anything decent. If the platter where the record sits is plastic, the whole thing is automatically trash as a rule of thumb.

People shit on crosley because of the suitcase ones that are horrible, but this is the one i decided on after a lot of research. The learning part was something else. I had to learn tons and tons.

You will spend minimum 500 dollars on a quality turntable. That's just how it is now.

Also dont be like me and learn on your new as fuck anime vinyls. I made that mistake and actually scratched a Nier OST vinyl. I shouldve hunted for some $1 vinyls at the flea market and played with those. I actually put it on ebay and some guy buy it for like $30 even though it was scratched. I messaged him to remind him its damaged and he said it was cool, he wasnt going to play it and just wanted to put it on his wall. I rebought it new later

Here is the rest of what I have now

Pretty good taste user

You seen the vinyl for elysian grandeval galeriarch?

The Bioshock 2 vinyl that came with the special edition. That was a comfy record. It was called Sounds from the Lighthouse

>own a bunch of records and tapes
>literally never listen to them because i have it all on my pc anyway
>don't even have them displayed
fucking stupid meme desu, at least I don't have any vidya soundtracks, just the Akira soundtrack remaster

I love Donna Sumer

Finally some love for my man Fixions. He’s got a new album out, it’s pretty good.

Im not going to lie, i got my record player and was sad because you cannot play bass too high around it. If you leave the cover on the thing will vibrate and you can hear while playing it. If you take the top off you expose the probably expensive vinyl it to lint and dust that is VERY hard to remove without a $200 machine. Cleaning it yourself with DIY methods will often make things worse if not done absolutely perfect. I ripped them to PC and enjoy them with more bass. Im always a fan of hard backups though and packaging. Not dissapointed in audio quality at all.

why not just rip soundtracks directly from a game itself if you want the highest quality audio?

>Death Girps
>SOAD
>Slayer
>Perturbator
>Run the Jewels
Eh.

People do that, but soundtracks specifically recorded/uploaded to certain formats are not the same as directly in game.

The money hole only opens up once you get your turntable. I try to get everything second and it still cost me a lot. if you get a second hand turntable to get a new stylus for it right away and make sure you set it up properly.

I cannot tell the difference at all and am not a vinylfag. I just hit a point in my life when I realized physical medium is a keepsake and relic of our times. I also collect Sega Genesis games.

Forgot i had this one

You should use vinyl primarily for collection purposes and digital as the primary listening method.

>browses Yea Forums for two weeks

You want a rough night. Go and listen to the Marble Index on youtube right now.

First heard about this piece of work on another vinyl thread. Im just passing on the word. Its not a good sounding album, but god damn what did i just listen to type of shit.

Attached: 51myrXn5mKL._SX355_.jpg (355x354, 19K)

I think it's one the worse boards on Yea Forums. For all the terrible shit to put up with on boards like Yea Forums and Yea Forums, Yea Forums is just way worse. Only reason to ever browse there is Sharethreads and those have slowed down over the years.

It kinda has the same feeling as the official artwork. I think kiririn51 is the artist.

the doom soundtrack is overrated and really not that great

Im sure as heck was interested in the Drive vinyl, but listened to it on youtube before i bought it. The first 2 or 3 songs are good and the ones you remember liking form the movie and the rest is "ambient tracks" which is just silence and random as fuck noises for 10 tracks. Not worth it. One of the hardest thing for me about viny is finding albums that are at least decent to listen to front to back. Drive just didnt cut it.

Attached: Drive+2019.jpg (1000x1000, 136K)

>tfw just got an AT-LP60 for 30 bucks
feelsgoodman

You will rarely find a vinyl that you listen to front and back. Granted, you should still like most of the songs on the record. King Gizzard's Infest the Rat's Nest is one of the only records in which I've liked every song for example.

The Va-11 Hall-A bonus OST was kinda mixed for me. I absoluted loved Lifebeat of Lilim and Shine Spark, but YLIAD is very weak, probably the weakest of the entire OST, and the other tracks were forgettable. At least, for me.

>New Model
my nigga
is that white vinyl?

Watch the GDC: Doom behind the music to truly appreciate it. Find more ways to break away from the internet and appreciate the physical world.

Attached: DiamondDogg768.jpg (1024x768, 131K)

where's a good place to pirate music
asking for a friend haha

Is that a good turntable?

i watched some of it. still did not make me appreciate or care for the soundtrack more. im convinced the only ones who like it are mostly zoomers with limited musical exposure

It's an 80 dollar turntable that plays audio. It's not what you want for quality.

>Vinyls
>Carpet

Heck no. I had a rug under my vinyl player and it would generate static that would transfer to the vinyl. During this time dust and link are magnatized to it. I remember there not really being an good way to get rid of the static unless you wash it, which leads to all sorts of ways to get it more full of gunk. You have to buy this $100 gun with special crystal to destatic your vinyls. Im not making this shit up, this is high level collector shit im talking about.

good begginer model, i passed on this one because it had a straight arm. A curved arm follows the groove more naturally than a staight arm. It is belt driven instead of being direct drive which is driven by a motor. With time your belt will wear and sound worse until you replace it. A direct drive motor always works at the correct speed. IT doesnt have an adjustable counter weight so if its skipping on a vinyl you cant make it heavy or lighter depending on the situation. The needle is not upgradable, only replaceable. Other models let you hook up professional grade styluses to it. This one is stuck with a low end stylus.

Soulseek for me.

I need to clean out my digital library. I have so much literal (and incomplete) crap from when my family shared an iTunes account and bought single songs. What do you guys think would appease my autism more, deleting the singles or finding full albums for the singles?

How should you de-static a vinyl then? I tried those carbon fiber brushes but the bristles leave microscratches on the surface of your vinyls. Google it, theres threads about it all over the place. I tossed that thing real quick.

devil may cry 5 ost

do you also buy gaming chairs and think blue LEDs make your computer run cooler?

That's pretty awesome.

>digitally produced music
>on analog format
pointless

cringe

Come at me with an alternative. Ive researched this shit up and down. This shit is not for those with shallow pockets sorry, friend. Its ridicoulus, but i didnt make all this shit up, itexists and there is a demand for it because it solves a problem that is not easily remedied. I wish there was a better way. The average suitcase player listener is unaware of these and many more nuances.

Soulseek

I guess I have to port forward and stop being lazy
thanks guys

I used to sell High-End Hifi professionally, so I know what I'm talking about. You have pretty much 4 price ranges;

A: 0-100 = Trash that will ruin your vinyl
B: 200 - 1000 = decent TT
C: 1000 - 10 000 = very good TT
D: 10 000 - 100 0000 = Rich Bitch Tier

After buying a TT, you still need to get a good passive amp and speakers. As a rule of thumb. A new amp should be in the same price range as the TT and the speakers should ideally be the most expensive part of your system. So a DECENT newly bought system will cost you around a 1000 bucks.
Another really important tip to give is, that not every amp and TT are compatible. Especially in the higher price ranges you want to make sure your Amp supports your TT and Cardridge. It's a bummer to buy an MC cardridge only to realize the AMP doesn't support it.

Most importantly. For everything above 1000. Go to a specialist store. There is no perfect sound. There is YOUR perfect sound however. And Professional Hifi sellers are here to help you find it. Don't buy shit online you never heard in real life.

And don't buy active speakers for fucking passive stereo component like a TT.

Have fun user, collecting vinyl is a fun hobby :)

Thanks user but I really don't have the money for all that. I'll save your post tho in case I ever do.
