That's 3 strikes. You're out.
just get a console, pleb
Could you suggest a good prebuilt to me?
>not even 3000mhz ram
>no ssd
>intcel
Thats a no no from me big boi
There's no such thing as a good prebuilt. They skimp on RAM,Power Supply,Motherboard, and CPU Cooling.
How do I learn to build my own?
Kys mudslime
What if I get all of the parts and they don’t work?
Falcon Guide and following instructions.
Building PCs is adult Lego.
kek
Pcpartpicker shows if there’s going to be compatibility issues iirc
biuld your own
>intel bad meme
There is literally nothing wrong with intel, you fags just like AMD cheap ass components.
Just build your own! There are a lot of benefits; not only will you save money but you'll learn a few things along the way. Also, your computer will feel more like your own, since you built it.
Listen, we understand that you're 15 and $700 is a lot to you, but if PC part picker says it'll work then it'll work. You'll save hundreds of dollars and it will last longer thanks to having better quality parts and especially power supply.
Don't forget to pirate and crack Windows. MSoft literally does not care if consumers do it.
>970 bucks
>only 8gb of ram
>a fucking 1650
???
i have no idea what i am rating, this page is a fucking mess with like 20 different specs listed. don't buy from one of these mega rebrand shits like Dell, its a complete waste of money.
pcpartpicker will help you avoid incompatibilities for the most part. a little research will take care of the rest.
HOWEVER, its not true "there are no good prebuilds". this is only the opinion of absolute spergs. a proper specialist, smaller outlet will use good reliable hardware and you are literally only paying a ~$30 premium these days on top of the parts price to have it built for you. its worth it if you are not interested in building as a hobbyist and dont have SUPER SPECIFIC requirements. i have no what outlets there are for USA but there's probably loads of good companies that have custom build sections, that will insure compatibility.
>There's no such thing as a good prebuilt. They skimp on RAM,Power Supply,Motherboard, and CPU Cooling
they literally let you pick the parts yourself.
>Don't forget to pirate and crack Windows. MSoft literally does not care if consumers do it.
I recommend Windows 7, one of the premium versions. Even if you decide you want 10, you can upgrade for free and it generates a 100%legit key so it's like you didn't pirate at all.
that shit has a $300 mark up basically, and with an extra $300 you could go from low tier to mid tier (which is really a huge gap)
Op here. I’m worried that I’ll get the parts and something won’t work. Could I send the parts back?
Paying someone to perform the labor of building, while largely pointless and a waste of resources, isn't the same as a prebuilt.
>How do I learn to build my own?
Yea Forums is 18+
>They skimp on RAM
I didn't know 16-64GB was considered skimping
The parts will work you mongoloid. If, by chance, you happen to get a rare dead-on-arrival part, then yes you can return it and get a new one. Alienware uses garbage parts that are way more likely to stop working after a week.
then you should gb2 reddit friendo
>Could you suggest a good prebuilt to me?
i personally wouldn't get one.
then again, i would buy parts and build a shitty budget DIY PC either without at least an rtx 2080 and i7 8700k
There's more to ram than just capacity
Prebuilts have a long history of using cheap and underperforming RAM, poor quality and bare minimum spec PSUs, poor cooling and cable management, and slow/cheap HDDs. They use large RAM numbers and large HDDs as premium generators.
prebuilts cost less friendo
64GB 2133MHz RAM is worse than 16GB 3000+MHz RAM for gaming.
I didn't ask your opinion. I"m not gonna study computer science to engineer a computer or pay some loser to build it for me. I said I wanted a PREBUILT and I want it now. If you're not going to contribute to my thread then gtfo. Leave. Vamanos. Cease to post. You are NOT welcome. If you continue to post you will understand that I am showing mercy by asking you to leave. So stop trolling my thread and GO.
Might as well ask here. how are the new AMD CPUs? I was thinking of building a PC with a 3700x but i'm still leery of AMD CPUs.
Fuck off back to wherever you came from newfag
>if someone has a fucking life and didn't waste their time in highscool taking computer classes they can't post here
You can shut up now, I recommend it for your safety.
build your own or >>>/reddit/
Great performance and value but BIOS and motherboard issues can make the experience pretty bad. Typical of AMD launches but if price-to-performance is your primary motivator, you can't go wrong.
I bet a thread full of absolute faggots like you will appreciate this:
What mobos are good? Should I get a cheap x570 or something else? I've heard even with bios flashing some of the older mobos are having issues with the 3x series. Budget is around 1.5k and i'd like to get at least a 2070s or something for a graphics card so that's 1/3rd of my budget or so abouts at least.
Yes,you pick from a list of fucking overpriced garbage you troglodyte. Plus, the selection is extremely limited.
>overpriced garbage
And yet somehow dell is the leading manufacturer of gaming PCs. People call my e36 trash, but when it comes down to it they couldn't afford it if they tried. I work hard: i play hard, so I buy the best. Have fun electrocuting yourself trying to put together a computer to save enough money to buy insulin. You're wrong, end of debate.
They literally don't. You can get same spec parts for usually between 20-40% less.
Adult Lego. It's basic reading comprehension and following directions, with diagrams.
You'll get better help in
this has got to be a troll. even if you did buy "the absolute best" from dell, they will still use bargain bin motherboard/esu/RAM. they win their biggest prebuilt title from supplying businesses and schools, not gaming.
stop being autistic and build your own pc.
>stop being autistic
>build your own pc.
pick ONE
I know, but honestly I find that general awful with the fucking trolling and shitflinging that goes on there. Maybe i'll try going there for help again.
I surely hope this is a misplaced /g/ shitpost because you are fucking dumb
Is this bait?
>post yfw you are not OP
speaking as an owner of an aurora r7 (only got it because it was cheaper than building my own PC at the time), it's shit. My older custom build PCs are so much better than this piece of shit. I regret buying it to this day.
The biggest issue is cooling on these shitty alienware desktops. They have 1 single intake fan. Maybe these newer r9s are different, but I doubt it. My r7 has a single air intake fan in the front, and a single air output fan, which is also the CPU's cooling fan for the liquid cooler. That's literally it. The GPU is a shitty blower 1070 that gets hot as fuck.
I will never get a pre-built again even if it's cheaper than building my own PC, though it's my own fault. I should have just waited for crypto prices to fall to get a GPU at a decent price.

>1650 for almost $1k
the fuck
buy a used tower for like $100 and throw in an rx 570
he wont
those threads are filled with nothing but AMD shills
>1650
>8gigs of ram
>nearly 1k
Fucking hell and that's the cheapest option.. I really hope you consider building one on your own.
why do you keep posting this in every thread. Since yesterday!
what required reading should i do before building a PC?
How to go from zero knowledge to understanding what the components do, what brands/models to buy, and how to put it together?
There's a lot of videos on youtube, it's not too hard
just spend time watching youtube videos.

austin is pretty good on explaining stuff, ltt is good if you're a faggot
