It's a shitty weapon that is only ever useful in the off chance you have a unit that got a bunch of mag level ups for whatever reason. Stop falling for the mixed damage meme in Fire Emblem.

it uses MAG in every game I can think of going back to Genealogy. RD had wind swords that used STR and hit DEF
it gives 1-2 to swordies which is often very useful

Very fucking good in Fates and Three Houses. once you get some magic going in Enlightened One or Mortal Savant classes, it deals crazy damage while giving a consistent 1-3 range option.
In Fates it's outright one of the strongest tomes in the game and an excellent option for a Nohr Noble Corrin.

So you lose your beast healer, an amazing early promote strategist in order to get a shitty axe user with absolutely no strength or skill so she can use a mediocre weapon in 10 or so chapters? Sounds pretty lame to me. I'd rather break heal staves and promote Elise by chapter 9
