I think I respect how Postal 2 plays more than actually playing it. It's such a mechanically interesting game from top to bottom and has a level of freedom that is kind of lacking in most games in general, but I tried playing Postal 2 again recently and.. eh.

It's really funny how the level design of the game is barely coherent shit slapped together and extremely dirty but it works because the inhabitants of Paradise are such a bunch of lazy assholes it's fairly easy to imagine that they just didn't give enough of a fuck to actually finish roads, make actual proper buildings or even clean the shit they left behind them.

what use is a fun weapon if the game it's in isn't fun? All of the fun of postal is the nonlinear structure that let you take in the world, which was completely nonexistent in the DLC. Postal 2 is technically an open-world game lmao

I'd ALMOST say it could have been a "so bad that it's good" game, but it's too buggy for even that. The worst part is that aiming makes no sense and where you actually shoot vs. where the crosshair is seems to be different for each weapon, which makes the whole thing a disaster to play. And that's without even getting into the crashes.
