I really hate the hope vs despair gimmick when everyone is so literal about this metaphor. Its stale and overwritten. It makes me mash the skip button like "Ok I fucking get it"

DR2's endgame was a much better version of V3's endgame.
It had similar themes, but was much more subtle in its approach and wasn't as nearly on the nose as V3.

V3 ending is kino, it wasn't the absolute clusterfuck of the other two endings. Danganronpa is a fun murder mystery series that gets its head shoved up its own ass during the final trials.

V3's ending made me sad. I pretty much broke down when claire de lune started playing. It didn't even go all in with the fiction theme because of the dialogue after the trial. Dumb ending, but it does make me sad like the other ones.
