Never played retail, going for human demonist, what I am in for?

Dodging generates no rage, meaning less TPS and threat is far more valuable than mitigation after a certain point so DPS can push harder. NE is strictly inferior and you shouldn't be very surprised if you're never allowed to MT as one.

Fun i guess, your class trainers are in a comfy hidden inn because demon summoning doesnt exactly make you many friends in-lore, and you're tolerated at best as a useful weapon to point at someone else.
In-game zero difference in how NPC's treat you but it's a neat little flavor thing.
Mechanics wise your main damage is via demon pets, damage over time abilities and channelled drains.
As one of the two pet classes and the one with a large source of self-sustain you'll have an easier time levelling than most.
Fear is also one of the best CC spells that you have, since in vanilla it has a chance to break based on how much damage is done at once which synigises perfectly with the playstyle of the class.
So ten ticks of 10 damage = Probably wont break.
vs 1 tick of 50 damage = Probably will.
Numbers simplified, for example purposes not sure on actual chance.
You provide group utility of healthstones (Gives health on use like a potion, can be traded to other players), soul stones (Player it is applied to can self-ressurect) and summoning other players to your location (Providing you have two other players to assist you.)

Orc warriors are for manlets, onions, and pre-teen boys who haven't gone through puberty. Real men, chads, and bros play Human or Dwarf.

NE is actually arguably the best or second best race in the game for MT, when geared correctly that is. That extra 5% threat that a Human would generate is negligible compared to all the mana the healers will save from the MT having a much higher dodge rate.

If a warrior makes it into melee range with a mage they're dead, escape artist helps, but anyone worth their salt wouldn't ever let us in range. That being said the 2-3 minute timer (I can't remember exactly as I never played a gnome) meant that they could bust out of two frost novas (with PVP trinket) in that time. a competent mage would spam frost bolt while kiting the gnigger around and baiting him into wasting the cooldown on his get out of rape free cards. But if any warrior regardless of race gets that mortal strike/heroic strike one-two punch they're dead mage.

I love all the try hards talking about if you don't play a certain race you would be allowed in raids, when raids are literally made for retards. Anyone who has recently played wow classic knows current raid mechanics are much harder than anything classic ever had. The only difference is the amount of grind required to get the gear to progress. A 5% threat vs 1% dodge for alliance tank racials is fucking laughable, if you bring that shit up in any real raid you are going to get laughed out as your sperg out. Raids are gonna need 40 people. You think guilds will be able to be super picky about who they'll take? Play what you want. I managed to DPS my way as a warrior from MC to Naxx in vanilla with minimal tanking. We even had regular retri paladins and boomkins.

It's more like paladins had more utility in PVE than shamans. Their auras were easier to deal with and moved with the paladin, their access to plate made them better at tanking damage, and their lay on hands is still broken to this day. Shaman tanking required you to kite anything that hit too hard, which meant the only fights they were actually more useful in than paladins was UBRS and Razorgore. They were better in PVP mainly because they had massive spike damage and if they got their hands on a good 2h would wreck far more than even paladins could with their ranged mage bash. Windfury and Seal of Reckoning (whatever the paladins equivalent at the time was I forget) were both equally fucking broken though. You can probably still find screen shots of the 900 hit swings both of them could do in vanilla.

To level a warrior is a Herculean feat that most cannot accomplish. Only those who have reached max level on their warrior can truly appreciate the endgame and the spoils it lays upon the warrior. A warrior does not have the convenience or easy paths other classes have, he does not need them. For taking the easy path goes against the very essence of playing a warrior. To impose great burden's onto ones self for the sake of others, and the promise of glory.

Voidfury, the trident, is not good under any circumstances. It's worse than Ice Barbed Spear, and only slightly better than Blackhand Doomsaw, both being blues of the same item level.

OEB is not slow, it's 3.4. 3.6 and above is slow and therefore desirable. OEB is also a MC drop from any of the first 4 bosses, not Ony; only WOTLK Ony dropped the updated OEB. I should know, because OEB was my favorite weapon and the only 2her I got until the PVP breaking patch gave everyone HWL weapons before BC.

You're also leaving out Bonereaver's Edge, which is arguably one of the best weapons in vanilla wow because of it's proc.
