Undead is the preferred choice for fighting warriors, priests, and other locks. Orc for anything that stuns like rogues. Rogues will probably be one of the more difficult classes for a warlock to deal with i think.

Orc is objectively better on a pvp server your biggest threat will be rogues and orc racial can just straight up make it a none factor.

Orc is also pretty good at fighting warriors because resisting charge/intercept can get you away for free sometimes.

If I played warrior in late BC and early WotLK, should I avoid the grind in Vanilla.
I want to tank, but I've heard the leveling is unbearably slow if you don't do high-efficiency strats while you no-life the game.

Naked warlocks can kill people if they get the jump on them, but in an even fight Warlocks need a lot of stamina on their gear or they just get fucked up by warriors and rogues.

Not going horde lock this time, because horde racials only improve your 1vs1 in an already powerful 1vs1 class. Warlocks are gear dependant, because they scale amazingly well. But, they're still strong without gear.

I'm still of the opinion that undead is better than orc. Orc gives you a 25% chance to force a rogue to run away, as well as not having to sit through a pally stun. Undead gives you a guaranteed cc break (which lasts an eternity in vanilla), as well as a second bandage.

If you keep leveling up in Barrens/Stonetalon/Ashenvale you will probably be close to exalted at 40 if you do every single quest. Undead starts out as Neutral with every city except Undercity, so you might be a little bit off.

Basically doing all the Durotar quests and Barrens quests gets you far. Ashenvale has quite a few, there's always quests in Orgrimmar itself (doing all the RFC quests is nice). After that they're going to be spaced out a little bit, but there's a few in Arathi too, and other Horde rep leaks into other faction reps, so it's worth it to just try to do as many faction specific quests as possible anyways.
