Zenith VRMMO

>Zenith is a VR MMO inspired by our favorite animes and JRPGs, where millions of people can play, socialize, and create their own unique experience together.
>Fight, craft, explore, and live in the first cross platform VR MMO. Forge alliances and friendships in guilds and parties. Participate in epic raids and world events, or go blaze your own path. Become forever immortalized in a world that will become as important as the real one.
Thoughts?

neverever/shit
too ambitions for crowdfunding
name 1 (one) good crowdfunded mmo

How about someone just makes something like the world in Sword Art and let everyone just make their own mmo people can join and try.

They’re already funded by YCombinator (investors of Dropbox, AirBNB, Twitch), Kickstarter is just additional money to see fan interest/ free publicity

that sounds much worse actually

>devs have more than 10 year experience in the industry
>have investment money from the company that historically has always invested in the «next big company»
>have a very successful kickstarter meaning more money/publicity
And somehow this is bad

VR is a meme gimmick fad that is already over.

Viralbl shilling works here sure, but you're gonna get told to go fuck yourself the whole way. So, go fuck yourself.

Also lol this shitty pitch. It's. Literally everything!

Imagine unironically thinking anyone would get paid to post on this contrarian shithole

I can't imagine that enough people have VR for a project like this to be a success.
Much less that those with VR will be able to play a game like this anyway, seems almost unreasonable to be honest.

A game like this could succeed in a world where VR is more readily available but since it isn't I can't see it doing well.
Besides that is there more info?

>inspired by our favorite animes and JRPGs,
>animes
>s
Why would I ever fund some ironic weeb project

Why the fuck wouldn't they? Pay some people minimum wage and reap the benefits.

Not that many people play MMOs anymore, add to that the fact that VR owners are a minority. I cannot see this succeeding.
Nice shill thread though

Because there are tards like you who will always complain
How dare someone talk about a video game on a video game board? What a shill, I want my daily rosterfag thread of my borderline porn thread

They should go the Patreon route

>People pay stupid amounts for a 0.0000001 alpha.
>Will be decades before they go to beta.
But they would still fund it.

>cyberpunk
eh. I only play vidya if I can be a wizard in it.

Vaporware.

Ok, I'm listening

Orbus VR is pretty cool. I'd like some full fledged VR MMO.

Someone has to take the first steps of making .Hack a reality. It's gonna be shit.

>VR
Have fun playing with all the other 3 people.

Unironically some of the VRChat worlds are pretty fun as far as "mmo" shit goes.

>VR vidya will exist properly in maybe forty years.
>AR tech will probably be another forty after that.
Brain uploading when?

Do you have some examples? I need some good VRchat worlds

>vr
>"a platform that will support millions of players...eventually"
>vr
>still in concept stage
>crowdfunding
ok, bro

Unfortunately no.
I just know there were some good ones, some anons were talking about them in the last VRChat thread.

>We loved Sword Art Online
nice red flag

They don't pay someone to do it dumbass, they do it themselves. Or do you think they aren't marketing at all and it's all some organic fan shit?

Imagine being this naive
