I did and I expected a semi-survival game set in the deep jungle with added mesoamerican tomb raiding. What I got was another poor man's Uncharted clone, where half the time I'm running around in populated hub areas, doing shitty fetch quests for random NPCs.

And all of the unlockable outfits for Lara sucked massive dick. Not that you could actually wear them for half the game..

I should clarify that with survival game I don't mean Rust/Ark/DayZ kinda survival games, but rather the desolace, lost in the jungle setting kinda survival action-adventure game.

Is the third game any good, Yea Forums? I liked the reboot, it was atmospheric and well paced. The sequel is playable but badly paced and got a bit boring. Still finished it though.

I bought it and I regret it, it's not a Tomb Raider but a survival game with a whiny boring girl as the main character. You don't go to explore the world in multiple country and have new landscape every level and explore tomb, you're just stuck in one boring island doing some useless boring shit.

Gameplay is boring it's not a tomb raider gameplay, it's a survival game's gameplay, what the fuck? I want to play an action game with fun gameplay and fun gunfight, I don't want to skin animals or collect plants the all fucking game. Most of the riddles are easy as fuck and the main part about the game isn't even the tomb, IT'S THE FUCKING BORING JUNGLE.

I will say it again but Lara in this reboot is whiny and boring but she's also not sexy, flat body, ugly, no charisma, she has no particular fighting skills, no acrobatic skills and top of that a retarded cunt with with two personalities.

Pacing is worse than the second game. You spend large chunks of the game in Paititi and other hub areas, solving so-so puzzles and doing quests for the natives. Also very little combat and no respawn of any enemies in cleared areas, aside from some wildlife. Post game can get very boring, since there are no enemies left and most of the collectables are in said hub areas. The optional tombs are pretty good though, albeit just as short as the ones in Rise.

Because the first two games were barely competent at all in any aspect, except graphics maybe.
