>"Night" city
>they only post daylight photos of the game
I don't think they know what a cyberpunk city should look like, it's supposed to shine during the night with all the neon, outdoors and shit

It would have been better to do more in the night for sure. I don't even know why they bothered with outside areas of the city either.
Cyperpunk is looking great!

It's a bad sign that they're afraid to post screenshots of the city at night.
Means it will probably look like SHIT
Should've done what Need for Speed did. Just night and dawn. Normies fear constant night.
Night City is named after a guy
Is this GTA 5?
>Phoenix
>no revival in sight
This game is going to be shit, it's just riding on the laurels of witcher 3 which wasn't that good.
this is just LA
>New York
>doesn't have a Greggs
Yeah user the sun somehow disappeared in the cyberpunk universe, there's only night now.
I KNOW WHAT CYBERPUNK IS MORE THAN THE GUY WHO MADE IT WHY WON'T ANYONE LISTEN TO ME REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>this thread again
jesus christ
This looks good as fuck lol. First time hearing about it.
They already stated in multiple interviews that they want to distance themselves from bladerunner as much as possible
Why?Idk
Was just announced at gamescom.
I don't really mind the 'during the day' parts of the game they want to implement, but my guy isn't this the fucking future and you're telling me the fucking climate is A-OK? no air pollution, no smog, no smoke everywhere, no constant rain on the fucking west coast? how is fucking clear weather and bright skies cyberpunk? 2049 showed us how climate change fucked LA in 10 different ways
how are there clear skies on the future when we don't have fucking clear skies in any major city right now, check hong kong, london, tokyo, it's fucked, the climate is fucked and it will only get worse
the pure core of cyberpunk is greedy out of control corporations that overexploit and they're only interested in profits and you're telling me they decided to go all green because of the greater good, nah, cyberpunk is messing with tech and pushing tech to the final limits and that has many costs, one of those costs is fucking up the earth
Im pretty sure they will present a justification for that in-game
>need for sneed
Give me a new burnout instead please?
tl:dr for the autist picture
I dunno user the guy that made no man's sky seemed to not know as much about the game as the people that reviewed it.
Call me crazy but maybe people that have spent time and other people's money on creating a product have a vested interest in marketing that product and making back the investors money so they can continue to have a career? Even if they know the game isn't great they're going to shill it because at that point wtf other option do they have? Go over budget and owe EVEN more money to the investors? Yeah it might work if the margins are right but now if It doesn't sell well they're fucked even worse.
they won't even fucking adress it my man and you know it, they just used the witcher 3 tech that did indeed have top tier weather effects and superb sundowns and sun-rises, but it has no place in a cyberpunk game
they just thought hurrr let's add this and make the day time all pretty and sunny, or it's a case of ''we want the GTA audience''
>3D Ruiner
Yeah...
The area surrounding Night City is a wasteland, whereas Night City was practically designed to be a utopia by a corporate who got tired of corporations. North America isn't so "United", whether it's because said states have become free or natural disasters.
>he actually believes in the cult of climate change
>Night City was practically designed to be a utopia
only way they could save it is if there's some sort of in-game explanation for the clear skies, like it's a city-projected hologram, or major money and tech is being spent on keeping the skies clear of pollution and smog
>Hurr cyberpunk is ONLY at night
Cyberpunk happens day or night. I understand that they only show daytime content but holy shit get the fuck over yourselves.
I'm pretty sure that is a thing in Cyberpunk lore, could be wrong tho
It honestly looks like GTA set in 2030.
I wanted something more Deus Ex. Corporate espionage, rogue AI, terrorists.
Can't judge the game yet but it doesn't look good.
>Time slowdown auto zoom in COD 4 style knife kills
Looks awesome
You're acting like pollution blocks out the sun, or becomes a layer of cloud of some kind. Even in the most harshest of pollution, that would literally only happen before the pinnacle period of global warming or after a supervolcano erupts.
The world of Cyberpunk adopted fusion technology pretty quickly. Of course there will be stuff in the game to point out a more progressed version of pollution compared to our world, but at the most, it'll be dust storms, acid rain and firestorms.
Pic related is the US in Cyberpunk 2020.
Was about to post this. Another trillion in taxes, grants and funding, goy! All we need is more money to solve the "crisis" that's been imminent for 5 decades now!
>he knows this because he actually plays cod
I can't believe anyone would give money to activision and play cod willingly, but then again you posted an edited wojak.
I know its a bait thread but its called Night City because of the architect Richard Night not because its always night.....ya goof
