I still remember that terrible launch stream

what about it

Still mad about the microtransactions and that shitty tacked on multiplayer mini-game.

they tried to pull the same shit on the first game. you think eidos would have learned...

>bought it at launch
>couldn't get it to run without it taking a shit on my computer
>finally played it earlier this year
>it's actually pretty fun

Deus Ex died for shitty capeshit, Japanese jewery and double standards. It hurts bros

I loved the gameplay and level design. Didn't like the world building and plot. Also, it felt as if it was cut off at the halfway mark.

And we'll probably never get a sequel. ;_;

Had to update my GC to play it. Damn good game ruined by squeenix's bullshit of ingame shop (in a fucking singleplayer of all things) and unnecessary multiplayer thats not even close to the game itself.
Criminal Past is fucking great.
Its not dead, its in cryopod. Also, all the memes these games gave us, all the music/soundtracks.

Dont worry, we will get continuation.
Also, you can find Adam in The Expanse.

Playing it atm.
Is there any way to fix the shit performance?

>implying capeshit games won't be a success and keep deus ex on ice forever

I enjoyed it.
Not as good as human revolution but still a solid game.

No idea. I played it on release and it ran well for me.

What are your system specs? Or are you playing on a console?

>that fucking emp revolver ammo that you can find in the drawer in London
>shotguns cannot use sabots
>auto-shotgun cannot use regular buckshot
>auto-pistol is the best weapon
>tazer fist is not so stealthy
Yeah, patch for minor shit is needed.
I dont know. I dont care about capeshit and idk why people like capeshit in the first place.

Is the dlc worth it?

Yeah, I'd go with this. I can't believe how they wasted the game's most interesting setting though (Golem City).

Worth a go for sure. Also goes for super cheap on sale.

I can't believe best girl Malik didn't appear in this game aside from a shitty easter egg.

What game

RTX 2060, i5-9400f and 16GB RAM.
It runs decently enough with the AA turned down, but it does chug a bit in the hub.

Isn't the story like 8 hour or something?

The prison is pretty good.

Only A Criminal Past is worth it honestly.

I am still in love with Delara

Why would she? She works for Sarif and Adam left.

yea there is stuff you can turn off. look up a youtube video or guide on steam

HR wasn't supposed to have a direct sequel. It was a game that starting going to shit in its third act. So why would you continue that story? Make a new protagonist and take the game in a different time period.

Yep. Criminal Past is great.

fug, 2016 was so much better

Is Invisible War worth playing if I've already accepted the fact it's pretty much just a shooter?

>replayed DX1 at least 10 times
>replayed HR at least 5 times
>yet to play MD again
I can't even describe what's exactly is wrong with it even aside from the obvious plot and pacing issues because for all intends and purposes mechanics-wise it's an improvement over HR.

Attached: 1559732758926.jpg (210x175, 9K)

stop having autism and just fucking play it.

It's an improvement in everything except plot and lore.
It also felt really short and the locations felt more limited than in the older games.

Yeah, it's great as a stand alone game. It just doesn't measure up to DE1

>All the best moments that actual give the game some meaning are in the side quests, and in optional parts of the side quests at that

No, it's hot garbage

It improves HR in every single way except the story setting.

It has the best waifus

Attached: 20160825165827_1.jpg (2560x1440, 701K)

I can't enjoy HR/MD because its piecemeal method of providing EXP tickles my autism and I'm compelled to do everything in stupid roundabout ways to maximize gains.

are we talking about Deus Ex 1 or Human Revolution?
I don't recall anything about multiplayer in DXHR

human revolution

there was multiplayer in human revolution?

Remember when Invisible Wars came out and it was such a disappointment? Who would have ever guessed things were only STARTING to get bad.
Then we had HR, which still showed some attempts and effort, put essentially dropped the ball harder than Invisible Wars in every single aspect besides atmosphere and hubs. I thought it couldn't, wouldn't get worse. But it did.
Now?
I'm just waiting for them to announce a remake of the original so they can modernize and dumb it down into a generic aaa thing made in some shitty engine. Oh do I love videogames.

Jim Sterling claims a dev told him that breach mode and the micro transactions were demanded from SE at the last minute. Shame SE's nature meant they changed the achievements to be online only, persumably to block cheat engine/SAM.

it's literally better than any other Deus Ex besides the very first one. Take that as you will.

Human Revolution is way better than invisible war

You sure seem to love video games when you declare your passion for a specific series but can't even get the game title right.

I like how these canadian cunt chinks portray my country as some dystopian 3rd world multiculti shithole, projecting much canada?

Desperate measures isn't even worth the effort to start up, it was blantly an early game mission that got scooped out to be sold seperately. System Rift is meh, only exists to try to trick people into playing Breach, Criminal Past is alright.

what are you talking about?

Desperate measures was super disappointing. It's like 20 minutes long and literally 1 small building.

HR was good, but it only existed because Square was just getting their feet wet in Western games and let Eidos Montreal work on it for almost 5 years. That sort of dev cycle isn't sustainable unless you're making a huge seller.

I actually kind of like IW. I enjoy all the jank and the story was still about all the conspiracy shit from the first. I'm disappointed that the levels were smaller, the gameplay made simpler, but just as DX1 always had had new things for me to find every time I play it, IW has been the same. I can't say the same thing about HR.

It can use more than 7 gigs of vram, so turn down the textures

Did you actually play the game or were you just being a reactionary around the time it came out and everyone was bitching about it on Yea Forums

We're never going to find out what happened to the original Adam.

and it was a good game, just too short

Died in Panchaea

He died, his corpse was recovered by Vesalife, they stripped down his augs and downloaded his memories into the clone/guy who got surgically altered to look like him.

It's fucking cyberpunk.

any tips for someone who got the game and Season Pass off of PS+ for $5?

Wasn't he a clone (or some kind of test-tube baby) to begin with anyway?

You retards. You're playing as the original Adam.

My boy Adam didn't deserve this, play HIS games right fucking nao

Attached: 1521892648218.jpg (2560x1440, 2.99M)

You best be playing it on Give Me Deus Ex difficulty

I've tried to play it twice but each time I quit after the upgrade guy in the basement. There is just too much shit on the screen at all time, way too many tiny details.
It's like the map was designed for a slow walking simulator to enjoy it all but my head hurts when moving through it all at a normal pace.

Attached: 10019062159.jpg (500x669, 55K)

he is a literal copy of adam, grown in a lab

Dxmd is about one of the best fun/$ ratios ever for me. I spent $5 on it and all the dlc and got a good 110 hours out of it all. I'd play it more if it ran better on my PC. The load screens and general HDD slowness is brutal

>Watching Adam stand around like an edgy dork on the subway for thirty seconds every-time you move around the hub world

In-universe, they can't grow clones within a few months thirty years after MD takes place. They sure as hell didn't do it in MD.

even The Fall?

Adam isn't in The Fall

user do you have autism

Not a clone of any pre-existing person but either a baby with a freak mutation that got experimented on a lot or a test tube baby from the get go

>Title has two Jensen's facing each other, only one with augments
>Sarif said all the Sarif branded augs aren't what he installed because no serial numbers
>Constant remarks as to how lucky he must have been to survive Panchea
>Jensen has weird urge to meet Janus in person with mid credits cutscene saying the illuminati saying their subject is getting close to Janus implying he's a subject with a sleeper kill code
>YOU FUCKING FIND JENSEN'S BODY IN THE VERSALIFE VAULT.

Don't touch breach mode, do all the side points and POI, go for the bank, not the bomb maker.

The prison one is interesting, the bank heist not as much.

Cloning technology like that doesn't exist in the Deus Ex universe. The Adam Jensen you 'find' in the vault is just a mistake they didn't bother correcting because they didn't think anybody would see him and because SE were breathing down their necks.

deusex.fandom.com/wiki/Gray

Nano-tech and A.I are the only notable tech upgrades between Jensen and Denton era.

They can create a baby with cloning technology. That baby then still has to grow just like a normal person. They don't have any way of accelerating this process to the point you'd need to grow an Adam clone in such a short period of time.

Then they took someone expendable and did major cosmetic surgery to him with some hypnotherapy and a voice box augmentation.

or just grew an adult Jensen in a tube and did their scifi magic, you think modern deus ex developers have more than two braincells? Their fucking message was racism for fuck sake

Maybe Adam was one half of a set of twins with the same mutation, and they kept the other twin on ice as a contingency.

Just Bought Seasson Pass. What i am into?

>Mankind Divided is a Nicolas Cage action movie
Could be worse

Criminal past is the only one worth playing. System Rift exists to push breach mode which is shit and Desperate measures is just an early game mission chopped off to sell pre-orders.

tšehhi on paras

You're obviously into supporting shitty business practices. It's best you kill yourself now before your retardation gets even worse and you start endangering others.

>Sarif said all the Sarif branded augs aren't what he installed because no serial numbers

That's not what Sarif said; he said that Jensen would have to be willfully misidentified because the augs personally identify him. He has the same augs, as verified by the aug tech near the start of the game.

Is Jensen really a clone?
Fuck me I hate those plot twists.

In MD, he's either a clone or a surgically altered expendable fuck with mental conditioning to seek out Janus and kill them. Realistically Janus is the brown skilled fuck in the illuminati that wasn't mentioned in the original.

Considering playing it. Can anyone tell me if the following are good or bad, in separate paragraphs?
>story compared to original DX
>story compared to HR
>story on its own merit
>gameplay
>visuals compared to HR (the goddamn piss fucking filter)
>stealth (I know this is gameplay, but stealth might be shit and gameplay overall still might be ok in a gane that allows differrent playstyles)
>dialogue meme potential

>Story is inferior to both as it got cut in half
>Gameplay is just HR+ (only boss fight has a non-lethal option)
>Looks good compared to HR but PC port is shit, kept crashing on me and my PC ran it at max settings without frame drops (max aside from monitor bottle neck, only using a 1080 60hz one)
>No meme dialogue this time.

I hate square enix so fucking much I decided I'm not buying a single thing out of them until Deus Ex lives properly again.

Attached: 1506545643204.png (425x385, 169K)

I bought the DLC in a sale and I've yet to play them. It's hard going back to a games DLC without replaying the whole game, damn. I hear they are good though.

>I hear they are good though.

Just criminal past.

To me the story felt more like the arc of the t.v. episode when it should've been a movie if you know what I mean. for the closest thing to a full Spencerian do all the side quests.
Gameplay is better all around in my opinion, and the stealth is pretty much the same as HR, though you no longer get railroaded by leaping from cover to cover, which is an improvement.
There's no piss filter here. Though honestly in some ways the games graphics feel kind of over baked and it'll probably run like shit on PC.
Not many dialogue memes.

*full experiance

The story and the lore are fucking retarded. They tease a big conspiracy but you don't uncover much of it and end up fighting just some guy the illuminati memed into being a terrorist. The game stops just as you think that the plot is finally going to pick up steam.

Gameplay and level desing are great. There's multiple solutions to pretty much any obstacle or quest and the main hub is very fleshed out with lots of alternate routes you can take to get into buildings. I think the gameplay and level desing are the best of any Deus Ex game.

They got rid of the piss filter and the game looks a lot better than HR overall.

Stealth works. You can sneak through pretty much the entire game.

I have a i5 4590 but no GPU and its IGFX can run this at around 14 frames.
Can run DXHR (which I was playing over the last week) at well over 30 frames except during certain rendered cutscenes.

knew this bitch was a spy the moment i saw her

Why does Adam gravitate towards evil women

Janus is an AI like Daedalus and ICcarus
