not him but usual recommendations for a first season are Heartcatch or Smile.

don't worry about chronological order or how each season relates because outside of Futari Wa-Max Heart and Yes5-GoGo they're all unrelated. Think Super Sentai/Power Rangers.

Really the most basic way I see most people say to pick a season is to just look at a group shot like pic related and watch the one with the cutest girl.

Just skip the anime entirely and go straight for the ero doujins. There's no point in watching the anime at all. It's boring and formulaic designed to appeal to kids and sell merch. You won't get anything out of it.

If you've seen any Mahou shoujo anime ever (besides Madoka) and understand the typical Mahou shoujo character archetypes then it's not too hard to interpolate the personalities of the characters based off of their looks and ero and non-ero doujin works. They are very 1-dimensional. You are giving the girls too much credit.

Why the fuck haven't they made a fighting game yet? The franchise is popular enough with neets to warrant a more serious game.
