Looks better with the filter

Might as well remove the grass and the trees and say the same.
What's your point?

Damn, TW3 sucks.

I'm not making a point, personally, I like the filter and saturation better. My statement is my statement: this is exactly how it looks with a lighting mod, Pheonix Lighting Ultimate.

Post gameplay shots too

I'll grab some real quick

post Anna Henrietta

Here's one from the Giant boss fight.

Looks OK I guess.

This looks like utter shit.

heh, bet you can't even climb that mountain, Witchcuck.

do you have the newest HD rework mod installed? noticed any performance loss?

I do, the version 10.0 or whatever. I haven't had any more trouble with it than I did with the previous version, which was none. My PC is good enough that pretty much the only thing that kills my frames is a shitload of particle effects or a ton of animals with hairworks on.

>lighting mod to remove the filter
Link pls

Mod does look better.
But I wonder if it could ruin the mood in other areas of the game. Velen is meant to look foggy and dark, for instance.

You read the thread before replying to it, right? I literally said the name of it in my second post.

Doesn't have that summer feel the vanilla b&w does

Would I have to play the first 2 games before getting the Witcher 3? Always wanted to play it but I feel like its too late

I'm sorry but that looks like shit. Your mod introduces fucking white fog like it's Skellige in winter. Holy fuck you are one tasteless retard, OP.

I'm in the same boat and I started playing 3 recently. Haven't had a problem so far.
The game is quite trash, though, but it will keep you distracted for hours.

good dog

Really why did they put such a strong yellow filter in the game?

that's how provence looks like irl

I never claimed that the mod is or isn't better than vanilla. I'm just showing what it looks like. Here's a another screen of the other side of the bridge.

Attached: Screenshot (212).png (1920x1080, 3.01M)

that looks better. if modders new anything they'd be making their own damn game after all

Yeah what's with the ugly white fog? I like the colors of the mod but that fog ruins it.

It helps but you don't have to and it might be hard going back if you end up loving 3.
I'd say give the first a try, acknowledge the jank and find pleasure in everything it does right, like the setting and atmosphere.

>if you change lighting things look differently
nice thread op you fully expressed how retarded you are

Even if do play the other two, you're still going to have moments where you feel as though you've missed a game. Particularly when you go gallivanting with random dudes that are allegedly your old bros but as a player, you really have no clue who they are.

2bh, I prefer the original

Toussaint is meant to look like a fairy tale land, and it's colour design and architecture is overly vibrant to emulate sunny towns in Spain and southern France

The filter improved the graphics. The mod looks like shit.

Attached: 292030_20180816030240_1.png (1920x1080, 1.65M)

I'm spanish and I can assure you we don't have a radioactive, toxic blue fog and sky.

Sure, the white fog in the mod makes it look colder, but at least it doesn't look poisonous anymore.

Again, I'm not claiming that one is better than the other. I simply had it installed and decided to share screens so others could see how it looks. It's not my mod, or connected to me in any way, I just downloaded it off the nexus.

Attached: Screenshot (216).png (1920x1080, 1.12M)

I'm a mediterraneanfag, that's how the countryside looks during spring and summer. this is how it looks like during the winter. Unfiltered photo for reference

Attached: 20190429_154455.jpg (2048x995, 2.11M)

I don't know, I live in southern france and while the colors are a bit saturated and the yellow filter makes it look like it's always evening, the rest is pretty much spot-on

Attached: witcher3 2016-06-07 21-59-33-17_1.jpg (1920x1080, 512K)

Ok, how about this, instead?
Same sunny ground, less radioactive fog

Attached: 3.jpg (1920x1080, 1.57M)

Looks good. Here's the palace from the tourney grounds.

Attached: Screenshot (218).png (1920x1080, 1013K)

Wasn't sure what you meant by the radioactive fog but now I get it, although far away fog is always a bit blue-ish in real life too, it's almost uncanny how washed out it is now.

>Pheonix Lighting
I wonder why it looks like shit...

Attached: 4.jpg (1920x1080, 1.58M)

Has anything decent come out the recently released fanmade modding tools? Mods from the past week on the nexus look like shit.

kurwa!!

>This is how Toussaint looks with a lighting mod to remove the filter and tone down the saturation somewhat.
Í like vanilla better. The only mods i like currently for The Witcher 3 are the big tits mods and the mod that expands draw distance.

What are the best graphics mods for TW3?
Playable mods, not the "Super Ultra 2FPS ENB" mods like what skyrim have.

The trees look like shit in my hardware REEEEEE

Attached: 1566555890838.jpg (600x600, 46K)

didn't care about lightning mods, but then i installed plm and never looked back. screenshots don't do it justice.
also a friendly reminder that if you aren't playing Witcher 3 with the Enhanced Edition mod, you aren't playing Witcher 3.

Attached: ferry3.jpg (3360x1050, 560K)

That is a terrible screenshot to showcase a mod. Post more.

People meme on Super Turbo Lighting but I found it pretty good.
It's meant to emulate the look of the old gameplay preview that spawned the downgrade shitstorm, and it does that pretty well.

I really need to replay Witcher 3 when I upgrade my PC to be able to run it at 4K.

Really cool pics man, ignore all these stupid retards. I think it’s really neat to see what it looks like without the filter. Makes me think they made the right choice with the filter and saturation

Attached: novigraddawn.jpg (3360x1050, 400K)

This mod completely changes the lighting. There's a mod that ONLY removes the yellow filter and leaves the lighting settings as they are.

way too blue. i bet this is using a cheap LUT

Is there any mod to fix the water?
Like seriously, it looks like dogshit, and most of the grass and foliage looks bad too in the base game.

What an I looking at here? Left has it's blacks crushed, right has shitty DOF, horrible jpg compression in both images and no AA. You get an F.

Thanks. If I couldn't handle stupid retards, though, Yea Forums would be just about the worst place to be.

And?

That looks worse. I bet you love the Half Life 2 cinematic mod.

Your screenshots look blurry as hell. Is it cos of the AA?
