It's called an alpha because the beta test has already been announced to take place at a later date. They called it an alpha so that there's no confusion between the two events. Also, there's literally only one game mode, and that's it.

Because when they used Beta as a demo, they still had Alpha to get back on. But now they gonna use Alpha.
They gonna create something like "Dev Version", or "Dev Build".

Guns have actual recoil now and most handling animations got revamped, if you want to see it for yourself just watch some gameplay on YouTube

Yea but i feel like the recoil was "fake" and in the end it was like any cod, ie you could still burst and not be punished, instead of tapping.

That's true I suppose, seeing how I get sprayed right from spawn every other time. Still liking the gunplay and sound design, makes you actions feel really impactful compared to the other games in the franchise.
