It's not clear how or why or what happened in the rest of the world; somehow not all beings with the Dark Soul were sent to the Ringed City so eventually it all got fucked up anyways. Anor Londo itself also seems to have been very navel-gazing and self-satisfied; training legions of knights and nearly losing half of them in the second war (demons), then just falling into disrepair as everyone abandoned it.

I mean the serpent thing was definitely a good idea, I'm sure. The only really special thing to come out of Anor Londo was the Painting, because it can act as a gateway to a new world unaffected by the afflictions of the previous.

I can't enjoy Souls in general anymore. Combat just feels so simple and boring now when I come back to it

I moved on to For Honor because it satisfied my medieval weapons PvP itch better. It has 3 directional attacking, blocking and parrying. So when I played Souls PvP again, it really felt simple as fuck and not fun.

sekiro has actually good combat

The level design in 3 is so phoned in it's ridiculous, I have no idea how people can continually replay this game.
