Theres a reason why no one cares (or at least, nowhere near as much) when a game is exclusive to Battle.net or Origin. Its because the exclusive games on those are from the company that owns the launcher, and thus, expected.
Epic Games exclusives are mostly through money offers to third-parties, often made at unexpected moments. Many of these games even had steam pages before these deals were made. And it doesn't help that Epic Games Launcher is dry of features.

Yea Forums follows Valve like a 2nd father because they grew up with Steam. Ironically, Steam is a DRM platform, which makes it shit by default. But that doesn't stop Yea Forums from worshipping it.
Money aside, it will stop working next year because all of this year's exclusives will be coming to steam and they evidently can't afford long exclusives for AAA games which hurts them since all the games announced this year got delayed to next year.
