Starts out like DMC with a boss battle. Majority of the game is X-COM trying to hold back vampire nazis and the catholics.

Dante is already too powerful to be a sole protagonist so you'd mostly have to play someone else

Battlefield 4 but with lots of zombies. Atmospheric night time maps, goal is to reach the boss fight which would be some wacky monster thing. You and your teammates play as the Hellsing Military Force or the Wild Geese. Special mission would be playing as The Major's unit, set during WW2 (The Dawn) fighting against Walther and Alucard.

Imagine having to play as a non-Alucard vampire in this world.

Multiplayer FPS with three factions duking it out at once in a fully destructible London.
Nazi side has limited ammo and trash weapons but the best melee and agility. Can also air drop wherever the fuck they want.
Iscariot has a mix of heavy and slow assault classes as well as more agile classes dual wielding pistols and katanas.
Wild Geese have top of the line firearms and explosives but lack any supernatural abilities.

Could even throw in hero mode from SW: Battlefront where one player gets to control Seras, Anderson or the Captain.

Or you don't play as alucard because he's too busy fucking schrodinger in his own mind. Or some other contrived coincidence keeps him busy. you could play as the geese while alucard is just fucking up everything else in the background.

One hit kills like Contra but you start with like three million lives and accumulating more is easy.

I honestly think Hellsing is one of the few series where a musou can be justified.

>There's a mass mook slaughter scene pretty much every episode and every single character gets to do it at least once, so it doesn't break immersion
>Unlike a DMC-like character action which focuses on one or two playable characters, a musou would let you play as cool but lesser characters like Rip van Winkle and Punished Heinkel which wouldn't have a chance of being playable otherwise

It'd be like the OPM game where you play as Seras or Walter and you just have to stay alive long enough for Alucard to show up and press the I WIN (I WALK?) button.

Musou is an abomination, an affront to all that is good and holy and it's never justfiable, it shouldn't even exist in first place.

Like EDF but playing as Seras, with Xcom/tower defense elements

It would be a good idea to take inspiration from musou games (horde of enemies), but not go full musou on it.
