Wrecking Ball builds are the most satisfying. Copycat sucks. Alternate status effects suck.
Fix overlap with burn+freeze and shock+altpoison you motherfucker.

Witch is supposed to be the hardest one and it can do some pretty batshit combos that none of the other classes can do, but yeah, the lack of HP and the fact that most of your spells are gonna be filler shit for the first couple floors sucks the fun out of it.

Just FYI in case you didn't know, you can switch your premade spell.

Also, I bought the itch.io version. Glad he decided to make it DRM free. An included steam key for alpha purchasers was a huge boon for me too.

Sure, but my current PC is that shit. Can't run any game for more than a few minutes. Any game shoots CPU up to 100 percent usage, hell, even downloading something with chrome uses up to 40-50 percent. And with it at 100 percent, it overheats and shuts right off after a bit.

Goddamn is that ever a dog shit PC. I got a G5 15 5587 through government subsidy for my uni but after about a year of having it it just runs like dogshit as well. At least it doesn't turn off and can run my visual novels. :3

Well it's no Isaac but it was fun enough to run every character once. Except Inventor who can just fuck you up by forcing you to burn all your DPS equipment. Witch is fun as fuck. Everybody else are piss easy.

Wasn't too bad when I got it, ran stuff like Payday 2 and TF2 fine on mid settings up until a year or so ago, but at this point it's like 5-6 years old.

it's fun but very casual.
it has a bit too little player agency sometimes and also i like my games with more unified mechanics, while this one every single run functions as its own unique game, yet you can't make too many strategic calls.

I went into the fight with full health, he rolled a 6 on the first turn, lul. He's a fucking run-killer, but shit like Loud Bird is still more obnoxious.

She's one of many reasons why it's always good to try and find a fire equipment on the early floors. A lot of shit on floors 4 and 5 are weak to fire and none of them can just fuck your ass more than her.

I did the first 2 episodes for all characters (except witch, did only the first) and all episodes for the Warrior but I haven't touched the game for the past 5 or so days and I don't think I will again.

It's an ok game but as a deckbuilder/"card game" it has the depth of a puddle, all style little substance. I do give the game huge props for how unique each character is, one of the best examples for diverse playstyles I can think off in recent memory.

it's up on pirate websites. i got my copy from igg-games. i know people hate the websites but it doesn't look like i got malwares and the game is a straight folder drop in with no installation.

focus on a freeze build, take the spell that splits your dice in 2, put in on 3, and prep it. this gurantees you always get an odd, and most likely a 2. this means you can put ice shard (feeze with an odd die) on 2, and constantly feeze the enemy. (you should prep this once you get an extra prep slot, so you have ice shard and split always). once you get blizzard from a shop you can pop that on 1, and prep it instead of ice shard. then when you get an upgraded slot, pop down blizzard on it, so you get 4 dice using the split spell, and then use blizzard twice to freeze 3 dice. this pretty much makes any late game enemy a huge bitch.

i played it in one of my first runs by copying the alchemist potion( as a special run rule i could use enemy tiles) using a normal character. no idea how else to access it.
